Couples Getaway with Outdoor Hot Tub!

(VERY IMPORTANT: This is a lovely efficiency apartment. You will NOT have the entire home to yourself! If this is fine with you, read on....) "Quiet" has a large bedroom with a Queen bed and a private bathroom on the lower level of the owner's newly built log home. The apartment has a kitchenette and small dining area and includes a light Continental Breakfast with the nightly rate. The breakfast is left in the mini-fridge and on the counter for your self-service. If you require a more robust breakfast, please consider bringing some of your own foods to be heated in the microwave. WiFi is available. There is outdoor seating, a chiminea, a grill, and a (shared) hot tub for guests' use. This accommodation is nestled on the border of Yellowwood State Forest with 40 acres of wooded property to explore and lots of nearby hiking trails. "Quiet" is situated halfway between Bloomington/IU and the artist village of Nashville. (Ask about booking both “Peace” and “Quiet” apartments together for larger groups.)

PLEASE NOTE: This efficiency apartment is on the lower level of the owner's private residence. You will not have access to the entire home. You will enter your room through a private guest entrance.

Overall this was a great place to get away. It was peaceful and nestled amongst some beautiful scenery. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The only thing that would've have made it better would've been some homemade breakfast options.

Very nice cabin in quiet location. Everything was newly renovated and the area was great since it was very close to Nashville. Has nice owners who live onsite. Beautiful wooded area.

Slightly tricky to find- google maps is not accurate, but the signage at end of the driveway is clear. Great for a quick trip. Hosts are super nice. Had everything we needed.

Birthday weekend

It lived up to its name "Quiet". There are two small efficiency apartments Peace and Quiet. We were in Quiet. It was clean, secluded but not isolated. Located between Nashville and Bloomington with sightseeing and shopping nearby. We will rent here again.

Peaceful setting

Wanted to take a day trip to Nashville and take in a football game in Bloomington. Was perfect for a 2 day trip. Just like your bedroom setting, except with a small frig and microwave- just enough to eat popcorn in bed! lol!!

Great Anniversary Getaway

We chose this place to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the hot tub the most. The view is very peaceful and quiet. The continental breakfast items and the toiletries were much appreciated. Check in and out was a breeze. The place was clean and tidy. Perfect for just the 2 of us. We will most definitely be back.

Exceeded Expectations

This is a fantastic hideaway for a couple to get away from it all. Everything was spotless and amply supplied with everything needed. They had a nice selection of snacks and breakfast foods and water and milk in the fridge. We loved the winding road to get back to the bed and breakfast. The location really made you feel like you were away from everyone. Communication with the property owner was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely phenomenal service

Susan was so accommodating! I accidentally booked the wrong day and the room we had booked wasn’t ready so she upgraded us with no extra charge! Her communication was superb. It was a very beautiful night that we both enjoyed immensely. We will definitely be coming back and recommending her place to friends and family.

2 day stay

I loved the room "quiet" it was extreemly clean and quiet and the hot tub was easily accessable and also was clean and nice to hang out in...the only thing that was a bit hard for me was sewell road, its not in the best shape and i drive a sports car with 20 inch rims so i could only go about 10mph up the road till i reached the location but that is not the hosts fault they can not control the condition of the street, other then that it was a wonderful experience and earn 5 stars in all aspects of my stay...if you read the reviews and are planning to stay there next the gps is not accurate it will take you a bit past it so if you remeber when you see a camper on the right side then it is the sec9nd driveway on the left side right after the driveway with the black fence....thank you for the stay!

Very peaceful little getaway!

We had a nice weekend away and found all the beauty and peace and quiet we could have hoped for at this home away from home. We love their location off the beaten path. Communication with the host was excellent. Our only concern is that the home is smoke-free, but it appears that a previous renter did smoke here. There was a cigarette burn on the bedding and a smoke smell in the bathroom. We contacted the host about this. She, too, was frustrated that a previous guest did not follow the house rules but is working on getting rid of the odor. Overall, it was a very nice private and peaceful stay in Brown County. Thank you!
