The Santa Elena Room - 50 minutes from Santa Elena Canyon.

The Santa Elena is a lovely stucco and stone accommodation facing Big Bend’s famous “Mule Ears” in the nearby Big Bend National Park.

The cozy room features a queen-size bed, air conditioning, wifi, and direct access to the West Courtyard and its’ firepit. The private bathroom includes a shower.

Its namesake, The Santa Elena Canyon is a fifty-minute drive from our guesthouse.

I absolutely loved this place! Perfectly appointed room with lovely outdoor seating and bonfire. Gorgeous views of the mountains and sunsets. The stone buildings situated on the hill, as well as the coffee and breakfast/lunch house a few steps away gave me the serenity and community connection in perfect proportions. I will absolutely be back!!

Very peaceful, comfortable, and clean room with beautiful views from the patio. After day hikes at Big Bend it was wonderful to come back to our oasis and walk to dinner!

Love the view and courtyard. We spent most of our time there. Very peaceful and gorgeous. The only issue we really had was the bathroom smelled like raw sewage...and could smell it in the bedroom even with the bathroom door closed. The only other issue is if you are limited mobility or have heart issues like my husband, we didn't realize you had to climb so many steps. If your healthy not a problem at all. Just want to warn you before hand because we had no idea? It is not handicapped friendly.

The cabin/room was beautiful! We stayed in the Santa Elena and the size and restroom was perfect for us. All very nice, rustic ranch decor! We enjoyed the porch and outdoor areas for sunrise and sunset! Host was very helpful and always accessible. Can't wait to stay here again.

Great Stay

Beautiful location right outside the West entrance to the National Park. Coffee shop in Terlingua is just near the guesthouse. Sunrise over the mountains is spectacular, and the dark skies at night mean awesome starscapes.

Great casita, very clean with easy access to Big Bend both National and State Parks. Good food, coffee, shopping and bars within easy walking distance. Great view from rock patio of the Chisos Mountains and unbelievable star-filled skies.

Posado Milagro Guesthouse is a great location in Terlingua -walking distance from Starlight Theater and a manageable driving distance from the Park. Loved the layout, highly recommend!

Not a lot of options near Big Bend, but loved our stay hear. So much character and room 1 has a private bath. Finding air conditioning and plumbing is hard, but really impressed with this. Love the atmosphere of Terlingua and the convenience to get to Big Bend NP. Really enjoyed our stay.

Santa Elena Room #1 was clean and cozy. Nice and private with bathroom inside room. Beautiful view of Terlingua and the stars. Walking distance to many things.
