It was fantastic! Four of my brothers and one of my sisters. What a great vacation spot. We LOVED the cabin. Especially the visits from all the bears walking by. It was amazing adventure. The cabin had space for all eight of us and a great porch for gatherings and watching bears.
We saw bears every day. One even came up to the cars. The hot tub was nice even though the lights werent working (replacement bulbs had been ordered but just were not here yet). The cabin was very cozy with ample sleeping space for the 5 of us. The pourch had plenty of room and chairs for us to sit and wait for the bears to show up. It was easy to find and so close to downtown Gatlinburg. The owners were very quick to get back in touch with me when I had questions or needed to report something. I would highly recommend this cabin
This home is prefect, just as pictured, very clean and prefect location!! Our hosts were amazing and was very helpful with anything we needed! We had family of 10 and plenty of room!! We rate this place a 10 and will definetly rent this place again when in Gatlinburg !!
The cabin was everything we could ask for - beautiful location, very clean and so close to Gatlinburg! We were even treated to seeing a mamma bear and two cubs who were right on the property! Overall, an excellent choice!
Well appointed cabin, perfect size, location and amazing owners that are close! Bear sightings galore, hot tub and fire pit were awesome as well!! But the best is the front porch comfortable seating!!! We loved it!!!
This cabin was perfectly suited for our family’s needs! The kids loved the game room, we enjoyed time in the hot tub, rocking chairs on the porch, and more! We saw bears every single day from this property which was a huge plus!!
We already have talked about wanting to return!!
The cabin was perfect and cute for our short weekend getaway. Beautiful property, close to everything and everyone loves the bears. Beds were nice and clean. Would stay again!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful cabin with wonderful scenery. We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.
We all seen black bears everyday of our stay !
And we were close to town for any thing that we wanted to do.

About the host

We live in the beautiful Lake Cumberland Area of South Central Kentucky. Gatlinburg has been a favorite vacation destination for our family. We enjoy adventure and we enjoy relaxing. The Great Smoky Mountains offer our family the best of both worlds.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property in October 2017 - almost a year after the horrible fire of 2016. All the property surrounding us was completely destroyed. Now, new and beautiful properties are beginning to be erected. We took great care and consideration in building our cabin. We have filled it with things that make our stay (and hopefully your stay) comfortable, cozy and fun. We invite you and your family to enjoy some adventure and make memories here at our cabin.
What makes this property unique
One of the things we love is our convenient location to downtown Gatlinburg. It's easy to access downtown without the hassle of a lengthy drive. Yet, we love that even though we're close to town, we feel secluded on the mountain. It's quiet and peaceful - and just what we love!
