Welcome to Sherrill's Seaside Cottage!

This classic Maine cottage is perched high on the island offering elevated views of Mackerel Cove. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the covered porch or patio. There is a right-of-way path to Little Harbor a short walk down the quiet dead-end road.
The cottage offers a very well-equipped kitchen suited to allow you to make all the meals you may want. Access to a small sitting room complete with a small TV is off the kitchen area and also has access to the downstairs bathroom with a wonderful clawfoot soaking tub. There is also a washer and dryer in the lounge area. Off of the bright sitting area is an outdoor patio perfect to sit and enjoy the views. Explore the house a little more and find a great dining area with views of the cove and a cozy living room complete with a sofa and chairs. Make your way upstairs and find the three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The first of the bedrooms straight to the top right of the stairs is a queen size bed complete with ocean views. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and bedroom 3 has a trundle bed perfect for kids as well as a quaint little window bench you can sit and read at. There is also a full bath on the upper level with a stand-up shower and a separate half bath as well. *The fireplace is not for renter use.

Great stay!

Overall it was a fantastic stay and exactly as advertised! Super cozy place, easy check-in, and responsive host. Bring fans if you’re visiting in the summer!!

All what I hoped we would be!

Very nice property with a spectacular view. The property was clean and comfortable. Very cozy, and charming. Most every room had a picturesque view.

Great time!

We had our first family vacation here since my son was born during the pandemic! It was amazing! The view was great, the house was lovely (the beds were SO comfy) and we had so much fun!

Sherrill’s Cottage

We had a Nor’easter the first 4 days at this charming cottage, but we stayed warm and enjoyed good food and family as well as a magnificent view from every window. The cottage was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen was well stocked.
