On the mid-level, sweet dreams are assured in 3 spacious master bedrooms, including two with king beds and one with 2 sets of bunk beds- all Bedrooms equipped with Full- Baths. All of the king bedrooms in this home have 42" flat screen TVs. A laundry room and reading nook stocked with classic and current best sellers round out this level. Step outside to the full decking with hammock swing to read or just gaze out over the ocean. On the upper level, the king master bedroom is adjacent to the great room with high vaulted ceilings, comfortable furnishings and countless windows to enjoy the bright sunshine and incredible ocean views!! Had a Great Time!

Great stay for a group of 10 friends. Enough room for all of us to stay comfortably and have our own space. The pool table, foosball table, hot tub, and fire pit were all a fun time. Proximity to the beach made this the perfect place to stay, along with all the included beach gear. Communication with the host was great, very fast responses to any questions we had.

Perfect OBX family vacation spot!

Incredible house! We stayed here for one week and loved every minute. The house is perfect for families and children. We had three couples and five kids there - plenty of space and privacy for all. Every detail to help make your stay a great one has been considered by this host. I recommend highly, we would love to rent this house again.

Great Family Getaway

The house and everything in was just as advertised. Plenty of room for my family. Great views of the ocean from the 3rd floor deck and crow’s nest. Furnishings were nice and comfortable. The walk to/from the beach was a bit longer than expected but having the hot tub available at the end of a day on the beach made you forget the walk quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Salty Piece of Land.”

Wonderful stay

The house was amazing - by far one of the cleanest and most comfortable we have ever stayed at. Plenty of room for 8 people, comfortable beds and furniture, lots of thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay very enjoyable. The outdoor decks were great, and we especially enjoyed a fantastic view of the fireworks on July 4 from the top deck. A highlight was also the close walking proximity to the ice cream shop and bakery. The neighborhood pool is also very nice. Communication was excellent! I would highly recommend!!!

Exceptional Experience in Avon

We had an amazing time at A Salty Piece of Land. The house is very well appointed and just a short walk to the beach. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the multiple decks, hot tub and game room. The only complaints we heard came from our three year old nephew who felt the game roim had too many games and the beach had too much sand! The teenagers on the trip felt both were just right. Teresa was exceptional to work with and responded immediately to all my questions. We started discussing another trip next year since everyone had such a great experience!
