Summerhouse West is located directly on Little Lagoon and across the street from the sugar sand beaches of Gulf Shores, AL.This recently re-decorated Two (2) bedroom, Two (2) and a half bath unit is located in Gulf Shores and sleeps 6 comfortably. Downstairs has a large/open living area with a sleeper sofa, love seat, Large HDTV, eating area for 8, a half bathroom, a laundry closet, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has everything you you'll need for your vacation including a Regular coffee maker.

Upstairs the Master bedroom has a King bed flat screen HDTV, a private bathroom, large closet, and private balcony. The second master bedroom has a King bed, private bathroom, a large closet, and a private balcony. Both master and guest bathrooms are full size, and come with sample sized shampoos and soaps along with all bath linens needed for your stay.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:


RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: _2 parking spots__ Come with the reservation. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

RATES: Rates subject to change up until time of booking. Additional fees and taxes may apply.

Beach house stay
To far away from everything. Place had bugs and dirty food. Tried sending an email to the head about it and didn’t receive anything back. A lot of stairs. Did have some gorgeous view. Not really family friendly or appropriate for a child on the spectrum.

The complex is in a perfect place. The condo was beautiful. We did however walk into a bathroom that had a clogged toilet left from the previous renters and cleaning crew. Why that would had been the case is beyond me. It was gross to say the least and obviously didn't make the smell of the condo great. I called to report it, did a maintenance report and emailed. The weekend people that takes calls could not understand anything. Late morning the 2nd day maintenance came and had to replace the toilet. So obviously this was an ongoing problem. The maintenance man was more apologetic then the realtor company. Considering what we were dealing with I expected them to at least reach out on Monday when they got to work but that did not happen. I had to be the one to try to figure out when the problem was going to be fixed The lower balcony's rail was so loose I wouldn't allow my kids out there. One of the upper balconies was completely lopsided. One step out you felt like it was falling down. There was no pillow cases for the extra pillows. The sleeper sofa was literally maybe an inch thick! The condo itself is beautiful.

Super Cute Condo with Great Potential
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your Summer House West property. We enjoyed the layout of the condo and the balconies at each bedroom. I had an issue with the shower not draining, and you guys came so quickly to get that fixed for us, and he did a perfect job. There was a chip on the bottom of the closet door in the bedroom that had the clog, and because some property companies don't act with integrity, I almost wondered if I needed to report that as to not get charged for it, but on vacation, you don't want to have to be petty and email about every single ding in a place, so I trusted that you guys already understood that was there. We really did enjoy everything, except the mattresses. They were just absolutely terrible. Every single one of them was absolutely awful. None of us got a single night's rest, and the second we came home we all immediately went to sleep because we were simply so very exhausted. I have never stayed somewhere with such cheap and uncomfortable mattresses before. I used to sell mattresses a long while back, and I know the ones you guys threw in there. I would highly recommend you speak to the owner about upgrading to something a bit more accommodating. I am highly fit and active. I do calisthenics and my body is pretty conditioned to handle situations of discomfort, and the mattresses were even much for me. Had I been an elderly person or someone who tends towards a lot of body pains in general, I would have been completely miserable in this unit because of those beds. They really were that bad.

Convenient to beach, lots of stairs
This house is convenient to the beach and a nice size for two families with a baby each. We picked it so they could sleep while the adults played card games in the evening and it worked well for that! It does require a lot of stairs - there is another unit under this one plus the ground floor parking, so it takes two flights of stairs just to get to the front door. The complex's stairs are also showing their age, and felt precarious in spots. Our check-in time was delayed for housekeeping to finish and communication with the property was slow. The walk to the beach was easy and the boardwalk across the dunes well maintained.
