Welcome to the Upper Bear's Den!
Perched on the hillside in Swansea Point, Mara Lake, this property is the perfect place for guests to sit and relax and enjoy the scenic views of Mara Lake. Only 6 miles from Sicamous, guests are close to a host of amenities; including restaurants, bars, groceries, shops and more!

The Inside Scope
The second level is the heart of this home with a spacious, open living space and kitchen. It's greatest feature is the wall of windows and french doors onto the deck that offer panoramic views of the lake.

The kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials required to cook any meal. The dinning space include high kitchen table and sit up bar for 6 and additional low dinning table with 4 leather chairs.
Two bedrooms are located off the kitchen area with queen beds.

The Lower level has a suite that may be rented out to other guests during your stay.

Buoy - this property comes with a buoy! Must reserve in advance as shared with guests in lower unit.

Parking
There is plenty of parking for multi-vehicles and boat.
This property is located in a private gated community. Guests are provided an access key code for gate entry.

Great location !!

Danielle was super responsive to us and really thoughtful about checking in with us during crazy wildfires nearby! Would definitely stay here again to enjoy the proximity to the lake and beach!

Great Stay with a beautiful view

Beautiful little place , the deck overlooking the lake was a really nice touch to have. Property manager was awesome , we had one hiccup during arrival and she quickly made it right along with a little treat for compensation. She was a pleasure to work with and we would certainly stay with this company again.

Everything we needed!

The house was bright, organized and had everything we needed. Close to town, a nice park for the kids to play at and beautiful views.

Nice Property and Beautiful View!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bear’s Den! It is a well appointed property with a beautiful view of the lake. Danielle was super helpful, answered all of our questions and got us set up with a buoy for our boat. The only downside is that the property is right next to the highway so it’s quite noisy when you’re sitting out on the deck.

Amazing view and Danielle made it very easy to communicate any questions. There is stairs to reach this amazing suite that I don’t recall in description, my husband has a bad knee so had to choose wisely when to leave. But the view!!! WOW
