Good Family Reunion Home--May Stay Again!
We loved the location & house. Our family of 14 (range 87-3). We made it work, but to do so, 2 people had to use the uppermost room; 1 on the futon (it's for 1, not 2) and the couch. Without the provided extra pads found in one of the bedrooms, the futon would've been hard & the couch, soft. We made it work. We also used the pullout living room couch, which our matriarch deemed to be very comfy. Ideally, we'd not have slept someone on it since the main floor is open, meaning if one's up early for coffee, so is whoever's on the couch. We made it work.
The kitchen's well-stocked, though our margarita-making nephew thought the cocktail accoutrements could've been better. He made it work.
We ate out a few times, but mostly cooked "in." Nice kitchen.
The back area is awesome. The home owner provided a number of kayaks and a couple of SUPs. We used them to teach the kids to safely use both and they had a blast.
We thank the owner for the paper towels & TP, but it would help to explain how to find them in the instruction book. We also appreciated that there was laundry soap. We needed it. Last, thanks for the linens.
Why I didn't go all 5 stars: Communication was slow. We came from 2 timezones away & had questions. Flying, we didn't want to bring things we didn't need to. The house instruction book can use an update & it would be good to have a media page. Found the Phillies 1 night, but not again. Sad.
Great house. I want to go back. Thank you from 14 of us.
