Luxury lake front at the corner of Duck Creek and the main lake.

We now have an indoor heated fishing space. Four poles is tight, two is great.
Shuffleboard, foosball and pool table in the main living area. Modern remodel with modern kitchen. Porch swing and hammock on the deck. Fireplace, two massive bedrooms, two large bathrooms. Dock for swimming, fishing, and boat tie-up. The view from the deck and dock is Duck Creek, the main lake, the mouth of Drowning Creek, and the mouth of Gray's Hollow (Dripping Springs). The full moon rise over Drowning Creek should never be missed. The crappie fishing in the spring, catfish all season, and white bass in the summer is very good. However, hybrid fishing in the fall is hands down the most fun.

This is a great property with a beautiful view of Duck Creek. This was our second time staying here. The house has tons of sleeping space, a well stocked kitchen, plus a pool table and shuffleboard. The owner, Mike, is a great guy and very receptive and timely with texts and messages. We had a great stay!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It had everything we needed and more. It had a dock and a view and most importantly, a really kind and outgoing host. I would like to stay here every time I come to Grand Lake.

Grand Lake Getaway

Great for a Family!

Great time at the lake

Our family took a road trip and came to Grand Lake on our way home to Arizona. It was a trip down memory lane for my husband. (Since he grew up in Oklahoma) staying at the lake house was so much fun for us. The house was a blast. We had a great welcome from Mike with a boat ride on the lake. We had so much fun playing the games in the evening with lots of belly laughs and fun times. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the kitchen and we had everything that we needed. The beds were comfy and the house had a great location. When we come back for another visit we would love to stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!!

Awesome place right on the water

This is a great place, our 2nd stay and planning another trip next year already. Mike is a great guy, even offered to take us out fishing one evening. Dock is perfect for hanging out and jumping in the lake when it gets hot. Mike put out a raft for us to use and was very accommodating, the place is perfect for relaxing in the water and Mike couldn’t be any more accommodating, another great visit, can’t wait to come back next year for a longer stay!

We spent most of our time on the deck or down at the dock swimming.. we had a great view of the Duck Creek fireworks! Mike is amazing and we enjoyed our time talking with him!

Great short get away

We stayed here with our 3 kids & my parents. There was plenty of room for everyone!! Mike was a fantastic host! He invited us to follow him to a fishing spot, one of the kids caught! We enjoyed our time & the kids had a blast! Thanks again!

Fabulous views and property!!

Host super easy to communicate with and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great!! Lots of extras that are supplied like fans in bedrooms, bathroom items, plenty of towels, trash bags and much more!! Best stocked house we’ve stayed at! Very clean! All beds were comfortable and reclining furniture in living room was comfy too! We plan to come back in summer to take more advantage of dock and lake!! Very pet friendly too!!

Perfect New Year’s Get Away!

We enjoyed everything about this lake home! It was clean & very comfortable. The deck overlooking the lake was a great place to visit with our friends & watch the bald eagles soaring overhead. The heated fishing area out on the boat dock was a bonus as well as the game tables in the living room. We had so much fun hanging out & cooking all our meals in the well-stocked kitchen. When the temperature dropped to near zero on New Year’s Day we built a fire in the fireplace, kicked back, watched football bowl games & enjoyed some much-needed rest. A huge “Thanks” to Mike for being so hospitable!

Great Stay & Even Better Host

I want to start my review with the owner Mike. He was very accommodating and allowed us to utilize his boat dock during our stay. Not to mention he even offered to tow us after we had a breakdown on the lake. I can’t say enough good things about Mike. Next let’s talk about the rental. While it’s only two bedrooms, they are large rooms that have plenty of beds to sleep large families. Mike had all of the amenities provided which is nice. He’s the first VRBO that I’ve stayed in the provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, laundry soap, multiple rolls of TP, endless trash bags, and all the cooking utensils you could possibly need. We are already planning our next stay!

Daughters 18th bday weekend

Overall our stay was perfect! Location and view were great. Very spacious and clean. The game area was also a big plus for entertaining all of us. The master is separated from the other sleeping areas and that was great for privacy and our sanity. The host was very kind and hospitable. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend.

Great getaway

View was wonderful. Access to dock was great. Only problem for us was the steps down into the house. At signing, we were told there were steps... but didn't dream there were that many. Wife has bad knees but we were able to do deal. Other than that, really enjoyed our stay.

A short escape

We had a great time. Mike allowed us to use his dock for our boat and it was perfect. Mike provided everything anyone could want from a short term rental. We hope to find an opportunity to stay with them again one day.

Fantastic Stay

My family of 4 and our extended family had the pleasure of staying at this awesome property in late July of 2024. The house was massive, pictures don't do it justice. Mike, the host, was super engaged and even took us on a fishing trip. We couldn't recommend this place enough, one of our favourite VRBO's we've stayed at.

Great host and location was perfect!

I was looking for a lake house with a dock within 4 hours drive of my home. This place won out over others because it had a pool table, foosball and shuffleboard. The furniture could use some updating and only one pool cue had a tip on it, but we made it work and had a great time. Would stay again! Thanks Mike!
