This beautiful home has an open living area with vaulted ceilings and a warm rustic pine interior, plus large windows that allow in plenty of light. The entire family can spread out, with two bedrooms upstairs and the master bedroom upstairs (complete with en suite bathroom). The upstairs loft is a perfect hangout for older children. After an exciting day of enjoying the resort, come home to and have dinner outside on the home's furnished deck. Cook up a special meal on the private gas grill!

Eagle Crest offers its guests access to swimming pools, tennis courts, three sports centers, and miles of hiking and biking trails. Golfers can challenge themselves on one of the resort's three beautiful courses. You can find the Cline Falls State Scenic Viewpoint three miles northeast. The city of Bend, with its great shopping and dining, is is just an 18 mile drive south.

Eagle Crest Chalet

The house was very clean and well maintained. It had all the cooking utensils one could need, including basic cooking necessities (i.e. olive oil, salt, pepper etc). It was the perfect size for our family of four. Thank you for a much needed get away. Would recommend!

Better Than Expected!

The property was fantastic! Even better than what we could see from the photos online. We did have to clean the patio and outdoor table ourselves since it hadn't been done in quite some time, but that was no big deal. Everything else was clean, everything worked well (including the AC - it was nearly 100 that weekend)! House was perfect, we will definitely rent again - thank you!

Lack of towels

We couldn’t find any dish towels, hard to locate bath towels and the downstairs queen bed was lumpy and not comfortable at all. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking stuff. The cleaning was good. Just think having slightly nicer towels and more kitchen towels would be helpful. We used 2 rolls of paper towels with lack of those things.

The outside was dirty and I sent you pictures. We were told someone would come and clean and no one did. Tree branches were blocking the walkway into the house. We reported that but again no one came to trim the tree. The shower upstairs handle is broken and needs replaced before someone cuts their hand. A knob in the kitchen kept falling off and needs replaced. When the power went out we looked for the fuse bix but could not find it but did find the air intake screen in the loft which was extremely dirty. With people that have allergies this should be cleaned for their comfort. Already sent you pictures no need to send more when action nothing was done about the conditions while staying there. We also reported the driveway was blocked off with yellow tape and cones.

We staying in another house through VRBO in November 2024 and had a wonderful time. This trip had a few issues. The home wasn’t as clean. We had to move the couch to retrieve something we had dropped and the underneath of the couch was filthy. It hadn’t been cleaned underneath for quite some time. The bathtub didn’t drain well at all, and there were little to no supplies. We had one day of coffee and we had to buy our own bag at the store. However, the worst were the neighbors in 8801 Cliff Swallow Drive. They have at least 4 cats but hung around the front door and the back deck of the house we were staying in. I’m highly allergic to cats. They wanted to come in the house. They wouldn’t leave us alone on the deck. It was awful. The neighbors also seemed to come alive during the night. Several times they were caught getting into their vehicles with headlamps on which would shine into the bedroom we were staying in which is closest to their house. Their garbage bins were overflowing, and they made a huge amount of noise. We love staying at Eagle crest and we use VRBO again, but not this home.

A nice place and as advertised, accept one fatal flaw.

We stayed 11 nights. We love Eagle Crest and come back usually every year. The day time temps were 90 deg and the evenings cool all week, this was spectacular for early Oct. The problem is the AC unit was not working when we arrived and the house was very hot. We addressed it right away, with in hours of our arrival and a technician came out to check the unit and diagnosed the issue. It was never repaired (even though the Tech told us it could be within a day or so), as a result our Vacation was full of late nights due to heat and trouble sleeping and not wanting to be in the home in the evenings. The only way to cool the house was to open everything up and wait for it to cool, but we could not just leave the house with the sliding door open and all our belongings inside??? Property management (Vacasa) and the owner did not fix the issue. We are waiting on restitution.

Great chalet, but

the flies on the patio were out of control. Either there’s something dead under the deck or somebody cleaned some fish on the deck and did not hose it down. The smell was hideous. The house itself was wonderful, everything we needed. We just would not go out to enjoy the bbq or the sunset because of the flies and stench. I’m sure it’s a simple fix by either removing what the smell is or washing off the deck. Enjoy!

Eagle Crest 2022

The house was perfect, clean, comfortable, and with everything we needed. The deck was nice and shaded. There really isn't any usable backyard and privacy on the deck was minimal as the neighbors deck faced ours with just several hundred feet in between. The neighborhood is very quiet with easy access to all amenities.

Quick Trip to Redmond

As is the case for most properties in Eagle Crest, this house has rustic charm. It's plenty big for a family with multiple children. But out of the 4 houses we've stayed in throughout the years, this was probably our least favorite & least comfortable. First the positives: the property is managed by Vacasa. Great & easy communication. There are 8 resort passes. The kitchen is well stocked. Nice backyard patio (although this house is surrounded by other houses, so not much privacy). Jet tub in master. Board games & small selection of movies, cable & internet. Fire burning stove (which requires a Duraflame log - Not Provided). Now the "cons": everything felt very outdated. The beds are not comfortable. The sheets are scratchy, mattresses hard & slightly lumpy, pillows need to be replaced. The living room furniture was just as bad. Not a huge amount of bath towels, and most were pretty scratchy too. The washer & dryer are old & extremely loud. There were no dryer sheets. The blinds in the living room that cover the large glass door to the patio were missing several blinds, so our living room was on display to the neighbors at all times. It didn't feel very private. Overall, it's not a bad house, but definitely not the best. Just average. At the original price point (without all the fees) I'd be satisfied with our stay, but when all was said & done, I almost $700 for Friday night & Saturday stay. That's a lot of money & was not worth it.

Nice house. Well stocked kitchen for cooking for a family. Comfortable beds. No golf course view, but still saw deer out the window each morning. Will stay again. Some areas were not as clean as they could have been (under couches and whirlpool tub). Check out is REALLY early and they were not willing to consider late check out request.

The only thing I could say is that the towels were still wet and that I had to put them back in the dryer. I am so glad I looked before actually needing them because they were very wet. The sensor setting on the dryer does not work and so we put it on timed dry to finish drying them. It would also be nice to have some kitchen towels which I could not find. Other than that the property was amazing!
