Kerry is wonderful! She goes above and beyond to see that you have what you need and enjoy your stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book your stay here. It’s perfect for what we needed.
Just right for some mountain air relaxation.
Far enough off the highway to hear NO highway noise yet minutes from great restaurants and shopping.
Loved it & many thanks to our host Kerry!
Perfect little getaway! The cabin is a perfect place to unwind! Peaceful and quiet. The sound of the creek below made for a peaceful sleep! Hospitality was fabulous! Unfortunately we had to leave early but would definitely go back! Thanks for a wonderful time!
If you're looking to unplug and leave all your worries behind for a bit this cute and quaint little cabin is perfect. Nestled right on the mountain side away from it all. Great time to spend with your better half and just relax. The owner is very helpful and extremely nice. Will look to come back in the future.
A gorgeous escape to the mountains. Awesome place with incredible hospitality. Very convenient for all activities in the Smoky Mountains There is no wifi and service is a bit spotty, such a great opportunity to unplug. The pictures do not do the cabin justice! Highly recommend.
My husband & I stayed at this property over the weekend & it was perfect! Kerry was an absolutely amazing host & was so accommodating. We cannot wait to go back for longer next time!
This place was great. Just what I was looking for. The owner made things super easy. I'm so glad I chose this place. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
The property owner was great. Covid caused many hic ups eventually causing cancellations. A great location and understanding owner made a bad situation into a good one. Thank You

In the renter’s yard
Booked a studio apartment for 4 adults, online said there were 2 beds, turned out to be one bed and a futon. Was supposed to be secluded, we were 50 ft from the renter’s house. There was not enough room to turn a vehicle around and driveway was impossible. Front wheel on vehicle came off the ground every time we came in and out, which was early or late as there was no room for anything at the rental. We stayed 3 days and we were given one wash cloth and one towel each for the entire time. There’s mold on the walls and 2 of us kept headaches every time in the house. Refrigerator leaked and took forever to cool. At $600 plus , we could have stayed downtown for a week and been much more comfortable.
We really enjoyed the property. However, there was no place for hanging up clothes. No welcome basket and only two towels.
I did really enjoyed meeting Carrie she was friendly and did get the DVD going. The driveway was very difficult to get into.
Our get away was really nice, and we would stay there again. Cabin was gorgeous and Kerry was really nice. Thanks for allowing us to stay had a great time!

Falsely advertised, still not bad
This cabin is VERY clean! We absolutely loved the cabin. The decorations are awesome and the wood smell makes you feel as if you’re in a cabin from the 1800s. What we did not know is that the owners home is right across the driveway about 30 feet away from the cabin. Kerry is very kind and helpful but has FAR right political views that she doesn’t mind offering up without being asked. These types of conversations aren’t what my wife and I are looking for on a quiet trip to the mountains. I know that a lot of customers do not want to stay RIGHT next to someone whom they will likely communicate with face to face during their stay. Know this before you book. As you can see by my review, I gave 3 stars because the cabin is great. The two missing stars are for reasons stated above.
My husband and I and our dog loved our weekend in Maggie Valley at Kerry's picturesque carriage house suite! The pictures do not do this property justice, it is absolutely breathtaking!! We loved the drive up to the cabin in our 4x4 truck and were treated to a warm welcome by several elk on our arrival! Kerry is very communucative and gracious host. She made us feel comfortable and right at home. The location was perfect for us, private, serene yet very close to everything we wanted to do. We highly recommend staying here on your trip to Maggie Valley!
Well maintained and beautifully decorated Cabin. Kelly made sure our stay was comfortable and welcome. She brought along a set of DVD's for the kids to watch . Would recommend as quiet getaway .., beautiful sunrises, and gurgling brook .
While working on business in Atlanta, this farm girl needed a break to recharge with the outdoors during my weekend off. This place was PERFECT for that. It’s nestled a little over 4000ft up into the Blue Ridge Mountains with wonderful sunrise and sunset views. Other renters spoke of a creek nearby - it’s literally right outside your door. The decor is delightful and thoughtful - the little cabin is the perfect place to unplug from the outside world, your phone, and electronics.
Even though I went during the off season, there were still a few shops and diners open in Maggie valley on the weekend. Cherokee is also quite close - visit Dave’s Diner for a fry bread taco (amazing) or the authentic Native American shops. While you’re on your way, don’t forget to hit up BearMeat’s Den - another incredible authentic Native American store with items made from the locals. They will even ship your goods to your home if you don’t have the room in your suitcase (came in handy!) Soco Falls is also a waterfall stop on the way into town that was wonderful to experience.
It was a quick weekend but jam packed with relaxing things in the area. If you’re coming during the winter months, I would recommend nothing less than all wheel drive with 4WD preferred. The hill off the main road is quite steep and could be a challenge with unquipped vehicles.
Kerry is an awesome host. Perfect little place for you, your significant other, and maybe a kid or two if you don’t plan on spending much time in the cabin. Next to the creek there’s a wood play set for kids - wonderful.
Thanks for sharing this gem, Kerry!
We wanted peace, quiet, and serenity... and even in the snowy depths of winter, this beautiful coach house did the job. The perfect retreat for us, and the owner Kerry was the perfect host! Thank you Kerry!
The cabin was a perfect Thanksgiving week getaway for my family. There are lots of great mountain trails nearby and the scenery from the cabin is beautiful from 4600 ft up. Kerry was the absolute best host!
Kerry's carriage house was just what we needed to relax and unwind for the weekend! The cabin is beautiful and so warm and welcoming! Listening to the nearby creek was an added bonus. Kerry is a great hostess and is close by. She gives you your privacy unless you need something then she is quick to help. If your looking for an amazing, quiet, secluded cabin in the mountains I would highly recommend Kerry's Carriage House in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.
