Beautiful Large Point Loma Home, Close to Beaches, Downtown, Nice Backyard with Fire Pit

You will enjoy our home immediately when you enter the great open layout to the living, kitchen, and dining area, bright with natural light from the sliding glass doors out to the backyard. Spacious and plentiful seating for everyone to be together. You will love the large kitchen with seemingly endless counter space, center island and a dining table, offering seating for 12!
Step out to a large backyard and sanctuary featuring beautiful landscaping, multi-levels and plenty of seating areas… including a fire pit area with benches surrounding the wood burning ring. You'll enjoy the space so much you might not want to leave! The perfect spot to sip your morning coffee or catching up with family and friends in the evenings!

The home has 1 Main bedroom upstairs with King size bed and 2 bedrooms downstairs with queen beds. Perfect when needing private time and a little space to retreat to. 2 of the bedrooms have their own connected bathroom, and a third bathroom is right in between the downstairs bedrooms in the hall.
There is an Upstairs Studio Guesthouse Unit that is rented to other guests who use the right half of the driveway. It has it's own private entrance from the side gate on the right side of the house and does not share the yard.

Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores in a great Point Loma neighborhood. Only 5-15 minutes drive to all the best tourist attractions… Airport, Downtown Gaslamp Quarter, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, La Jolla Cove and the beautiful beaches to name a few!

*We are at the lighter end of the airport flight path. We have double pane windows for extra comfort but most of the time we don't even notice when the windows are open.

The thermostat is locked to a normal and reasonable range to conserve energy. If you require the AC to be colder than 71 degrees we can unlock the range for a daily fee.

• Overnight occupancy (including children and infants) is not to exceed the posted maximum occupancy. Occupancy is defined by the total number of people at the property at any time.

****NO PARTIES AT ANY TIME – a party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance and forfeiture of all deposits. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by Southern California Rentals in writing prior to the arrival date.

Pets Considered at most properties, please inquire first rather than using instant book when bringing a pet. Pets must be screened for Breed, size and behavior and approved before a reservation is made. Pet fee applies. Please do not bring additional unpaid guests or pets on property without prior written permission.

Vacation Rental Agreement will be emailed to you for your digital signature and initials before your trip. You will receive check in instructions after the rental agreement is signed. State of CA also requires a COVID Awareness form to be signed by ALL Entrants before Entry! Please provide all guest's full names and emails at the time of booking.

The Cleaning fee is charged to cover the cost of professional cleaning and time of Laundering bedding and towels which are provided clean for each guest. Professional cleaning of 10 man hours is provided in this fee. Excessive dirtiness may require more than 10 man hours to bring the house back to the level of cleanliness it was provided for guests' arrival, this will be charged to the guest out of the deposit if more than 10 man hours of cleaning is necessary to return it to the level of cleanliness it was in for guests' arrival. Please empty your bagged trash into the outside black and blue (for recycling) cans. Only dispose of bagged trash in cans, and wash and put away dishes before checkout.

For long term stays of over 29 days, we require you to pass a rental application, results are immediate, it checks rent history, credit and criminal background, cost is $44.95 per applicant.
We reserve the right to refuse a reservation if any occupant over 18 years of age refuses the rental application or does not pass it. Unless a rental application has been approved, We also request that you get a PO Box as we do not accept mail at this property for short term guests. Packages from Amazon and other stores are not affected by this.

Nice vacation time at San Diego...
Thanks to Souther California and to Raquel , the owner, they where really helpful on everything.....During my stay there was a heat wave in San Diego and inside the house got warm ....I turn on the A/C and start working correctly but after the second day something happened and the A/C failed..I called Ozzy and immediately he went to the house and solve the problem bringing a technician on AC. The yard was perfect for barbecues and spend time with family...big enough and beautiful. The location was better though , you can get easily to any place from there... the only thing that might bother is that the airport is really close to the house and planes are always arriving or departing but the house has a doble window system and that helps 100% airplane noise. Hope to come back again Thank you!

This Point Loma location is a terrific place to stay. Instructions for access inside is easy, beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath, fully furnished and lovely lovely backyard space. Great place for family gatherings. The most important is customer service. I required assistance for two items and the service was prompt, professional and accurate results. Thank you!

Conveniently located house with space to spread out. Excellent for longer stay
This house was a great fit for our family. We stayed for over a week, during which we mixed work and vacation time. The 4 beds/baths meant that everybody had private space to work when needed. The community space is open and inviting, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything -- appliances, utensils, cookware, etc -- needed to cook gourmet meals. And the living room has lots of cozy seating for an evening family movie. At night the neighborhood is quiet and the beds were comfortable; we all slept well. We also loved bringing our dog on vacation. We were excited about letting her enjoy the backyard, but unfortunately it is not completely fenced in. This might not be the case long-term since it looked like there was some work in-progress. The location of the house is super convenient to big-box/grocery shopping in the Midway district, Liberty Market shops, Ocean Beach restaurants and bars and of course the beach. SeaWorld, downtown, and the Zoo are a short drive away. There is no question that this neighborhood is under the takeoff path of the airport. Sleeping was not an issue (no flights at night I guess) but we could hear (and see) jets flying overhead frequently throughout the day. With the windows closed it was noticeable but not disruptive. In the backyard we'd pause our conversation. Overall it didn't bother us but if you are sensitive to airport noise you should probably avoid the entire Ocean Beach area.
