About this property
Traditional house in Tinos. spectacular view of the valley. 15 minutes from the port.
The house is located in the charming village of Smardakito, one of the most beautiful and flower of the island. The village has a good tavern, a beautiful Catholic church (St. Anthony of Padua) and a reputable source, which come to draw the initiates of other villages. Where laurels and lush bougainvillea along the whitewashed alleys and fruit trees, which thrive here and there.
Last of the village, and thus without vis-à-vis, the house enjoys a magnificent view over the valley, dotted with olive trees and dozens of these old dovecotes of beauty, architectural gems of Tinos, cultural heritage sites Unesco.
Fully restored in 2015, the house has two levels: the traditional party house, overlooking a terrace overlooking the garden and the valley; and "Katoi" the lower part, old cellar where the inhabitants of the Cycladic islands were storing the harvest, the jars (oil and wine), dried figs, potatoes, hay for the animals or agricultural tools.
Above, the traditional party house is a reflection of all the Cycladic houses: a living room which gives two small rooms in the monastic sobriety, a dining room and a kitchen. This floor also has a bathroom with a spectacular view of the valley.
Downstairs, the Katoi consists of a spacious entrance hall, with two benches with lime, on which one comes to nap "in the fresh" or read books from the library. After the first vault, we enter the second part of Katoi, where a large dressing room is located, the telephone and the Internet case, the entrance to the master bedroom.
Decorated with a large picture window, so shop, which opens onto the garden and the valley, the main bedroom overlooks a private bath.
At the bottom of Katoi, before spending the last arch that leads to the hallway is an extra bed (90 X 190), wrought iron, behind a screen.
At the end of the corridor have been built a toilet and a bathroom, also behind a glass workshop. Down the hall is a second bedroom, with also a beautiful view.
The garden has three levels (terraces), full of fruit trees (fig, pomegranate, plum, etc.).

linen sheets
honeycomb towels
