The house was perfect for the large number of guests we had. We got lucky with the weather and water quality. There were plenty of activities provided; we set up the volleyball net, played ping pong, and foosball. The kitchen has all the supplies you could think of and we definitely made use of the grill.
Great place for a group vacation. I can only say positive things about the place but if I have to give some constructive criticism, I’d say that we didn’t realize that one set of bunk beds was in the garage and another was in one of the bedrooms, which meant that many people would stay in that bedroom
The place was clean and spacious. Whole property to ourselves. We had our whole family there. Enough space to accommodate large family functions. The game room was enjoyed by the kids. Will highly recommend the place for future visits and will be back if we ever decide to stay a weekend in Clear Lake again
The host was wonderful, fast & efficient. Especially when the water heater went out. The house had all the amenities needed to host a Thanksgiving dinner.
We were able to spread all our kids and there families across the estate it was perfect for the young the elders and the dogs. The boating docks were amazing and the fishing was great. We had such a good time and all agree we would love to go again
Beautiful house right on the lake. Some of the rooms are not fully private i.e. are mezzanine/hallway style which reduced the privacy of the space. Other than that, it was a great stay.
The house is great! Perfect for our family. It has two separate living spaces. We put the party crew in what we called the frat house, which has the pool table wet bar and bedrooms. The babies and older crew stayed in the main house.
Big house, and kitchen for a birthday and lots of family! Ample room and very well appointed with a lot of extra yard games and toy to play with. Hosts were helpful (especially when a few items were left accidentally behind). We rented wave runners and a boat on the lake and was great to have the dock to keep them. Everyone really enjoyed the house and lake!
We had an amazing stay at this lake house! The 5-acre property was perfect for our large group (23 people), with plenty of space for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The private dock and lakefront access made the experience peaceful and enjoyable, and the separate game room house was such a fun bonus. The home itself was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. There were a few minor issues, the jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom didn’t have enough hot water to use so we weren’t able to use it at all, one of the game room lights fell (no one was injured), and one of the outdoor chairs was already broken, when an adult sat on it, he almost fell backwards, but luckily caught himself in time.Despite these small issues, Maggie, the property manager, really stood out. She was very responsive, communicative, and showed genuine care when we brought things to her attention. It made a big difference knowing she was attentive and took our concerns seriously.Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this property for a spacious and relaxing lake getaway!
Maggie’s house was absolutely amazing! Thoughtfully laid out with multiple areas to convene, a large kitchen to accomplish any and all group meals, and enough space to host several pups and 23 family members!
The kids had a blast on the large lawn area playing with the numerous acitivities available at the property, and the adults enjoyed the view and different areas to take a nap.
Clear Lake is not clear - depending on the time of year, it is not recommended to get into the water for swimming activities near the dock. We did not have a boat/jet skis, but the dock is available if you bring them!
This was an amazing property and stay, would definitely come back for an annual family vacation.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
The lake was terrible and not at all what was advertised. Terrible week for our family!
This vacation was not what was advertised. The lake was disgusting and smelly. No one was able to swim in the green nasty water. The pictures in this ad are a total misrepresentation. The algae blooms were terrible. Absolutely unswimable off the dock. Even out in the lake was terrible. It ruined our swimsuits and our boat.

PLEASE TRADWe let this renters know including VRBO agree we can not control the condition of the lake. Rain, wind or lack of, can change a lake. We have been going for 30 yrs and great. PLEASE NOTE. This renter threaten us if we didn’t give them their money back, blackmailed us or they would go to every rental platform and give us bad reviews. Texted us all night long in a harassing manner. One guy later texted us the next morning and said they were drunk.
The property itself is as advertised. It has plenty of space for everyone. One thing to note is that there are only four bedrooms with absolute privacy, one of which is a converted garage. There is a fifth with a door but windows looking in and a sixth (office/den) with a door but it’s open to the kitchen below. The seventh “bedroom” is the loft described with four beds. This worked for us but it might not for others. We had a few hiccups along the way, including the AC going out downstairs, the gate not working, the BBQ unusable (back up BBQ provided) and the back door being extremely hard to open and close. But the communication was beyond fantastic and everything that could be fixed was. The water was green everywhere, but especially bad in front of the house. That can’t be helped this time of year, though, and we expected it to an extent. The dock was still usable and we easily docked our three boats for the week. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend this property to those going to Clear Lake.
This was our yearly friends and family reunion (Fam Bam). We have family traveling from all over. Adults and a mix range of children. This place fit all of our needs and then some. We had at one point 43 people and it didn't feel like it. Plenty of room to play football, tag and Can Jam. We brought our own water toys and enjoyed the green water (not hostess fault). They have an outdoor shower to rinse off. The main house was large and set up perfect with all the various rooms. 3 bathroom was perfect. Not too mention the 2nd house had a bathroom as well. There were some cob webs and a few dirty dishes, but nothing crazy. Also, you world never know that they allow dogs. It didn't smell and there wasn't animal hair all over the place. We would stay here again and recommend this place to others. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. The memories we made will last a lifetime. Fam Bam 2026
