Comfortable cottage

I enjoyed my stay but there are one or two things might make it even nicer. It was slightly unwelcoming, no welcome pack not even a little milk, & on a damp & chilly day it would have been very pleasant to have had a fire laid ready to light, at least for the first evening instead of having to clean it out, luckily I had bought some wood with me. A couple of new plants in the pots outside the front door would make it all look a bit cheerier too. It was all beautifully clean, tidy & comfortable (but the cutlery is awful!). I had no communication with the property manager - perhaps because there is no mobile signal or internet?
