Ideal location near the districts of the historic center, on the hill of Santana. Very close to the historic districts (10 minutes on foot): Bairro Alto, Chiado, Graça, Rossio and Alfama. Soft decoration (renewed 2020) quiet street with little car traffic and very typical. Lots of typical and inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood. Finer choice in nearby neighborhoods. Ideal for a relaxing and touristic holiday, ideal for a couple or a family of 4 people.

We Want To Stay Again

Location, location, location. It was awesome. Walking distance to popular sites and places. A short walk to the transportation hubs like bus and train stations. A few blocks from busy and beautiful squares but nestled in a delightful, safe, character-filled neighborhood with little bars and bodegas within a block. Two little parks that were absolute gems less than 10 minutes away. Did I mention the location is great?Lisbon is not great for those with mobility issues. Many steep hills and uneven surfaces to traverse. By Lisbon standards, the small flight of stairs up to the apartment was a breeze to negotiate.Atop the flight of stairs, we opened the door to find a charming, spotless, apartment that was precisely and accurately described in the listing. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. (We prepared most of them here during our stay). The bathroom had all necessary toiletries and nice towels. We also made use of the washing machine and the washing supplies and accessories. Our host Marisa was excellent about keeping in touch with us before we arrived and throughout our stay. She was especially kind to accommodate us by letting us drop off our luggage early before the agreed check-in time. She even reached out to let us check in early when she was able to get the place cleaned up from her prior guest before the usual check in time.The check in process was helpful with tips about the apartment and location.

Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour à l’appartement de Marisa. Très bien situé, sécuritaire et très très bien équipé.Un gros merci à Marisa qui nous a offert le Check in à 9 heures le matin, surtout après un long voyage et arrivé à Lisbonne à 6:30 le matin. Au revoir

A great central location with walking to most sights in the area.

Wonderful host who takes care of the guests and property very well. Street is a bit noisy at times and it has a lot of colorful characters around. The kitchen was a bit small for meal prep but that is likely true for most places around Lisboa. Would definitely stay here again. Bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and well apportioned.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay here. The neighbourhood was quiet. It is a short walk down to rossio square. Coming home requires an uphill walk but this was fine for our family. Overall it was perfect for us. Thanks Marissa for a wonderful stay.

Area is rally good, wasn't noisy, the smell in the apartament, bed linen and towels was really nice. Could not have any objections.The apartament is a little bit old fashioned, but when we were looking for apartament, we didn't want to have noise and bad smell form bathroom and Marisa's place was perfect in this regard

Perfect Stay!

So enjoyed staying at this property! Marisa met us there for an orientation to the apartment and we so enjoyed the generous hospitality of the chilled wine she gifted us. Number one with us is always cleanliness and this place was spotless. Comfortable bed and hot shower with great water pressure. Second on our list is location, location, location. We love to walk and this apartment has a central location which was perfect. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you Marisa!! Cathy and Rick

In the heart of Lissabon

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen im Zentrum der Stadt in Baixa. Von dort hat man die Möglichkeit Lissabon von allen Seiten zu erkunden, da Rossio nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen ist und von dort alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmitzel abfahren. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Very comfortable accommodation

Loved our stay in Marisa’s apartment. Spent 2 weeks and were very comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook our meals and relax after a long day sightseeing. Yes it’s high up on a steep hill but we just used Uber to drive us up after a long day for 3€ it was no problem. There is a lovely lookout/garden just around the corner which is great and supermarkets close by for groceries. Marisa is lovely and lives close by if any issues. Great stay….thanks Marisa for sharing your lovely apartment. If we come back we’d stay again for sure.

Très bien accueillis par la propriétaire, délicate attention pour notre arrivée avec des fleurs, de l'eau fraîche au réfrigérateur, des fruits ainsi qu'une bouteille de vin. 4 jours à Lisbonne, très jolie ville, beaucoup de choses à voir, mais il faut de bonnes chaussures tant les rues et ruelles pavées sont difficiles. Bien étudier les numéros de lignes de bus et métros pour les visites.

Perfect Apartment - Well Situated

We stayed 6 nights at Marisa's perfect little Lisbon apartment. It is well-appointed with everything you need to get started on a restful Lisbon getaway. Kitchen is great, living area bright and the shower/bath is excellent. The apartment is located just above Rossio Square and within walking distance to some lovely restaurants and the entire downtown area. We felt comfortable and safe everywhere we went. Marisa was an excellent host, responsive and very helpful. Don't be daunted by the hills, they aren't so bad at all and they justify those extra calories! We revommend this spot highly.
