The Apartment is in a good location in Madrid with easy access to museums, cafes, restaurants. The apartment was clean and adequately outfitted. Communication with the host was inconsistent. The arranged check in time was 6:00 pm and the rep didnt show up until 6:30 leaving me standing on the street. The host my email told me to go wait in a local bar. Upon entry to the apartment it was very cold, colder than outdoors. All the electric heaters had been unplugged and the apartment had been unoccupied for a period. The next morning I discovered a window open behind a curtain in the living room. When I plugged the heaters in they tripped the main curcuit four times in a brief period. When I contacted the host they told me to unplug one. It would have been helpful if the rep who brough the keys took care of all this or at least gave mne directions. The apartment did not become comnfortable temperature wise until the middle of the next day. Better communication, preparation and an updated checkj in system would beneift this location.
