Beautiful countryside

This property is well equipped and located in a quiet and tranquil rural setting. There are a lot of good walking trails in easy reach of this gite. If you want a holiday that centres around hiking and nature then this is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This little house is perfect for small family stays. Refurbished and equipped to a very high standard, in a beautiful part of Normandy. Walks and bike rides on your doorstep, and so much to see and enjoy only a short drive away. We appreciated the comfortable beds, a kitchen with everything you need, an excellent shower, and a lovely dual aspect open-plan living space. Bedrooms are compact but have plenty of wardrobe space. We were there during the severe heatwave, but the elevated setting of the gite meant it stayed reasonably cool even on the hottest days.We didn't meet the owner as she was away, but the lady looking after the property was so helpful and welcoming, and all the messaging was very efficient and prompt.There is off-road parking, a little orchard, and a nice back garden space to sit out. We definitely want to come back when it's not over 90 degrees for days on end, so we can enjoy the gorgeous surroundings properly.Highly recommend this gite!

A very pleasant and easy place to be, with all the home comforts. The location is delightful, and has immediate access to all the walks & cycle rides we wanted to do, amidst the quiet roads and deserted countryside.

Très bon séjour au sein de ce gîte confortable, bien équipé, parfait pour une famille de 4 personnes même avec de grands ados. Tout est neuf et bien pensé. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la beauté de notre environnement ainsi que les échanges avec notre hôte. Le site de la Roche d'Oetre est tout proche et le gîte est un excellent point de départ pour les amateurs de randonnées.

Nous sommes venus accompagnés de nos deux chiens pour profiter du calme des forêts normandes et ce fut un réel succès. Le logement est extrêmement bien équipé pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner même en vacances, il y a de quoi s'occuper en cas de mauvais temps et les possibilités de visites sont nombreuses. Le hameau est calme, paisible et les voisins très accueillants et discrets. Les balades à cheval sont extra au Centre équestre de la Lys et le resto du café du Caillou nous a tellement plu qu'on y est retournés 2 fois!

Alles war wie beschrieben. Der Geschirrspüler ist sehr klein. Ein neuer großer Geschirrspüler würde die Unterkunft noch einmal deutlich aufwerten. Dafür war die Dusche sehr gut, heiß und stark.

superbe gîte

situé dans un environnement très calme , ce gîte offre tout le comfort, lit confortable, salle de bain moderne et spacieux, très bon Wifi, la propriétaire est très sympa et chaleureuse, dans un rayon de 50 km ,il y a des centaines de balades en nature, des jolies, villages et villes, tout près du rocher d'Oêtre et Clecy, en pleine Suisse Normande. Au moins cinq étoiles !

Agréable séjour

Séjour agréable dans l’ensemble. Maison bien équipée, suffisante pour nous 4. Seul bémol : impossible de profiter de l’arrière de la maison à cause de « Maya », une chienne chez les voisins qui se mettait à aboyer dès que nous tentions de passer le coin de la maison… Autre petit souci : impossible s’ouvrir le parasol, la moindre petite rafale de vent le malmenait en tous sens…

Calme, repos et randonnées

Gîte très confortable, bien équipé, propre. Les alentours sont très calmes. Nombreuses randonnées à proximité. Hôte très réactive et très arrangeante pour notre arrivée et notre départ. Merci d avoir accueilli notre chien. Merci également pour le petit cadeau de bienvenue !

Suisse Normande

Très agréable petit séjour apaisant et actif au gite de la Lys qui ne dément pas le lieu où règne calme et sérénité dans une nature magnifique et généreuse de la Suisse normande. Gentil accueil du voisinage environnant. Nous avons parcouru les animations locales, artisanales ( expo, marché, cidrerie, soirée musicale..) les villages typiques, et découvert de jolis sentiers de promenade avec notre toutou. Quelques visites toutes proches : le Lac de Rabodanges, l'espace naturel insolite de la roche d'Oëtre avec son belvédère, la Maison de la Rivière et du Paysage, l'église de Ménil-Gondouin magnifiquement décorée" street art "à l'ancienne ...Merci beaucoup à notre hôte pour tout le bon confort à disposition.

Jolie maison avec grand jardin

Agréable maison au vert et au calme. Maison fonctionnelle et joli jardin. Tout était parfait ainsi que l’accueil sur place. Jolis chemins autour de la maison pour faire de belles ballades. La région où est la maison, la Suisse Normande, est très belle : je recommande.

Mitten in der Natur mit vielen Möglichkeiten

Es ist ein sehr schönes Häuschen mitten in der Natur. Es war alles vorhanden und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer gerne auf dem Land ist und die Stille mag , ist da gut aufgehoben. Es gibt viele Wanderwege, Reit - Möglichkeiten und mit dem Auto ist man in ca 65 km am Strand. Die Betten im Haus sind sehr bequem. Es gibt Gartenmöbel und einen Grill. Der Garten ist groß und mit einem Zaum abgegrenzt. Der telefonische und Mail Kontakt zu der Besitzerin war sehr gut und hilfreich.
