The Cottage was perfect for our stay in Galveston. Private drive parking was great and the house was so clean. We will definitely be staying again soon in the future.
Really enjoyed this house. Stayed one night as we were leaving on a cruise. Very clean, everything we needed was available. The cookies left was an added bonus that my daughter loved! This will be our new go to place to stay when visiting Galveston for short or long stays.
It was the perfect house for us. Centrally located to food...stores...and museums. We took an extra day and enjoyed the town before we heade out on the cruise. The property was just the right size for 4 of us.
I can't say enough good things about this experience, our First with VRBO. The Home itself is clean, well maintained, well appointed and has lots of labelled supplies. It is central in the city and close to the beach and the Strand and across the street from the wonderful Bryan Museum. The central air conditioning was already on and the house cool. in August. Most importantly, the host is prompt and thoughtful with their detailed communications. All was in order for this retired military senior and his wife of 49 years. We can highly recommend it. Thank you.
This is a cute little duplex. Diane pays close attention to detail down to the labels indicating which light switch turns on which lights. Its centrally located and easy to find and get around the island.
We enjoyed our stay at The Cottage; all of the information was sent to me a couple of days before so it was very easy to get into the house. It was very clean, there were cookies waiting for us 🍪 and cold bottled water in the fridge. Everything you might need was available, even chairs, towels and water toys, games, and toys. It’s a great place to stay in the great city of Galveston!
We loved this little place. Owner has everything in place and little notes & labels helped us and were adorable. She even left us a tin of cookies. Place was immaculate, well stocked and quiet. We will definitely stay here again!
My girlfriend and i love the property and enjoyed our vacation also looking forward for our next vacation there again

Overall clean and well kept house; owners was thoughtful Left cookies for us. The house is abit older. Lots of nice personal touches and kids toys and beach stuff to use. We didn’t use any because the weather was cold and we were only there for 1 short night. The washing machine and dryer was nice to have.
We needed an overnight before hopping on a cruise. This place was exactly what we needed. House was great, host was awesome. Communication lacked nothing. They even had cookies waiting on the table. That was a very sweet thing to do!
I bet it's great for beach trips as well, even though we didn't have time for that. We saw there was an ornament globe with instruction for filling it with shells you may find on the beach. Really a great idea and very thoughtful of the host to do.
House was super clean, everything was great!
Excellent communication with the owner. Totally impressed with the property! Very nice and extremely clean. You can tell the owner takes great pride in the property. Nothing to worry about with COVID 19. Felt completely safe. Even had hand sanitizer, Lysol spray and wipes available. Very well appointed. Absolute attention to every detail. Owner has thought of everything that anyone could need (and then some) to have a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend this property and hope it is available for my next Galveston visit because I will definitely stay here again.
