A five minute kayak trip brings you to Powell's Bar and Grill and a short drive delivers multiple golf courses, a casino, numerous restaurants and shopping. Enjoy the popular Tamarack Farms Winery just a quarter mile away.

Great for a group!

This is a wonderful set up for a group or family gathering. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. We love staying here!

Large cabin on big round

We enjoyed the size of the cabin. We had 8 adults and 8 children and had plenty of room. We did have 1 issue and that was all beds had acorns in them. We were able to rewash the bedding so we made it work. Kids caught a bunch of fish ice fishing. Lots of Northern and Large mouth bass.

Family vacation

There was 14 of us plenty of room for us great set up had everything you could possibly want including kayaks, which were awesome and a standup paddleboard. It was a little warm one night, but otherwise the fans are appreciated and kept at cool! Couple of notes just when you're driving there it's right behind the dock for location finding it and then also had lots of boats and lots of cars, and there was room for all of it! Great stay thank you so much!

Our family has been coming to Round Lake for 15 years. After our cabin purchase, both of our parents also bought homes on Round Lake. We have love our time on this lake, however, as our kids become teenagers, we find it more difficult to spend as much time at the cabin as we'd like. We've found using VRBO allows other families an opportunity to enjoy the lake and cabin space yet allows us to reserve time when it fits our schedule.

In early 2020, this property became available and it was clear that it would be another place for families to enjoy and make memories. Our plan is to offer both properties and then stay at the location available when our schedules allow.

We sincerely hope that you find your time at Round Lake as enjoyable as we have.

Why they chose this property

This property has many features that allow families to enjoy their time together. Depending on the season and weather, this home offers access to water or snow activities, restaurants, golfing, shopping or even a casino within 15 minutes. The cabin is very spacious and allows room for groups to stay together all while having the privacy of multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. A rec room provides a pool table and a fire pit sits in front of cabin.

What makes this property unique

A unique benefit of a stay on Round Lake is that it allows families to reconnect away from the day to day grind. Time is spent together enjoying outdoor recreation and old fashioned fun instead of in front of a television, computer or smart phone. Put your cell phones and ipads away and enjoy each other and all that Round Lake has to offer.
