Wow! Look at this incredible condo. It's just a short walk to the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Located in a private gated community, this condo is just a few steps away from the two community pools; one seasonally heated and one with a hot tub and kiddie pool. This wonderful third-floor condo has one of the largest floor plans. There are two balconies with sliding doors that overlook the beach and the tennis courts with prime seating to watch the tennis games on the courts below. Mainsail 4434 has gorgeous living room furniture that includes 2 full-size sofas one a sleeper sofa. Throughout the rest of the condo, you will find new artwork and tastefully decorated beach décor and tiled floors. The living room is equipped with a TV, DVD player, and a CD Stereo System. The fully equipped kitchen has been beautifully upgraded with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and light wood cabinets. You will enjoy plenty of seating with a dining table for six, three high backed counter bar stools, and patio furniture on the balconies. The master bedroom features a beautiful king bed, wicker furniture, a TV, a DVD, and carpeted floors. The guest bedroom features two comfortable twin beds, and white cottage style furniture, a TV, a DVD, and carpeted floor.

Spacious Light Filled Condo

Condo is very spacious and light filled - much bigger than it looks in pictures! Decorated really cute with plenty of kitchen necessities. Very large kitchen dining area with plenty of seating at table and island. Living room is very comfortable with two sofas and a couple of chairs, large TV. Lots of light and windows and a small view of beach from balcony. The blind situation is horrible. We couldn't shut the balcony blinds as most were missing. A few were laying on the ground when we came in, but we were able to put them back up. A few of the other blinds in the living room were also missing a panel or two but they weren't as bad as the living room balcony ones. The master bedroom blinds were great! We only used master bedroom and bed was a bit soft for us but certainly comfortable. Master bathroom is spacious with vanity and closets separate from tub shower and toilet. Lots of space! Master bathroom could use some updating as closet doors are hard to push open and closed due to rust on bottom door guides. Some wire shelving in closet is coming loose from wall. Master bathroom shower could use a deep clean in the grout but nothing that bothered us. Second bathroom by 2nd bedroom is updated nicely. The chair and umbrella service is great and is why we picked this complex. It's a short walk to the beach which is absolutely beautiful with white sand. We loved the location and quickly found our way around Miramar and Destin plus the beaches east of Miramar. A great area and we absolutely would come back! A couple of things lacking but definitely not deal breakers: there is no blow dryer which is not a big deal but I have never stayed in a condo without one. I went to WalMart and bought a cheap dryer to use while we were there. Also, no hangers - not one! We traveled by car and had all our hanging clothes on hangers but if we had traveled by air, hangers would have had to been bought. Plenty of shelf and drawer space for folded clothes though. No dish rack for drying dishes when you don't want to use dishwasher for one or two items used daily. Not one lightbulb worked outside - it's very dark trying to see your keyless entry and we had to use our phone light. Also, balcony light didn't work. There were no extra light bulbs for us to replace ourselves and didn't feel like it warranted a phone call. We had a great 10 days and enjoyed the condo very much!

Wonderful Condo

Great condo but....

The condo itself was very nice. My husband found the bed uncomfortable (soft) but I was very happy with it. My daughter said one of the twin beds was "broken" and I admit, I didn't check it out. She just used the other bed. I have stayed in many rental properties and this was the first one that had -0- "extras"- no extra paper towels, no spices, no cleaning supplies, no extra garbage bags, tinfoil, etc. There was plenty of dishes those types of things but missing the "other" stuff. There was a FILTHY frying pan that was left in the cabinet - like someone had tried to clean the stuck on grease but with no amenities to clean it....what can you do? i left it on the counter for the cleaning people to hopefully address. The range also had the lower drawer broken. The vertical blinds were awful - but i also hate vertical blinds. Everytime you tried to open or close them, about 5 of them would fall off. I just ended up leaving them open, but then you also couldn't open the door going out to the balcony from the living room because the blinds would flap and fall. there was a second door in the main bedroom, so we just used that. The condo comes with 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella on the beach, setup by the beach attendant. The attendant makes only tips, by the way, so be sure to think of them when leaving. The beach is gorgeous and it was an easy walk straight down to the boardwalk. The pool was NOT heated. It was absolutely glacial - no one was in it, not even kids. Not sure if the heater was broken or what was the issue? The single reason i took off a star was for the buildings themselves. Building #4 (and 2 i think) is being "worked" on so there was construction dust, noise, workers, EVERYWHERE. It was so loud a few days, it sounded like a jackhammer was in bed with me. Seriously. The elevator was covered in some kind of temporary construction cardboard and again, it was a mess. we trailed the dirt, dust, pieces of styrofoam, everything, into the condo. The first few days there were worked right outside our window all morning. Not even sure what they were doing (painting? caulking?) but none of this was mentioned at booking or in the listing. I overheard someone on the beach say the exact same thing and then another person said the work has been going on for almost 3 YEARS. Maybe due to COVID it was stalled but again, mention it in the listing. OH! And my CAR was also filthy from all the dirt/dust. It was left a black mess on my windows where i had to buy windex to clean the windows everytime we left! The elevator sometimes didn't work either? No idea why. In summary, nothing against the owners of the condo except to stock some more things for the guests and get some curtains or something other than vertical blinds?? The issue was wholly with the construction and lack of communication in the listing that this was going on.
