Originally a dovecote, La Maison du Soleil is now a charming detached cottage that has retained many of the original features, such as interior stone walls, huge oak beams and vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. All rooms are light and airy and remain pleasantly cool in the summer.



The two Superking/twin bedrooms are luxuriously appointed with beautiful furniture and sumptuous bedding to make your holiday relaxing and comfortable. In addition to the beds, both bedrooms have large, comfortable sofa beds and en-suite bathrooms with windows overlooking the sunny garden and orchard beyond. The private terrace is west facing, ideal for soaking up the evening sun, and is accessed from the kitchen or via the path that goes around the property.



The property is perfect for four people, but can comfortably accommodate additional children on the sofa beds.



Le Farat is set on a vast 3ha estate for you to enjoy, including a secure dirty swimming pool and a fishing pond. Nestled in its own little valley on the outskirts of Auvillar, Le Farat is a charming stone hamlet dating back to the 17th century with a mansion in the centre. Originally a wine estate, it is now the home of Allison and Nick who have made it a wonderful place for holidays.



Close to a quiet little road and surrounded by countryside with no close neighbours, the gravel driveway leads you up to the entrance of the main house set in a beautiful park with its own fishing pond. There is a salt water swimming pool, a fully equipped games room, bicycles and fishing rods are available for rent, everything you will need for a great stay.
