Don’t let the name fool you, the Honeymooner is an authentic two story log cabin retreat great for any occasion. It features a comfortable "great room" which has a large stone fireplace extending to the full height of the beautiful cathedral ceiling. This chalet has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lower bedroom has 1 queen bed, and the upstairs bedroom offer 2 double beds. There is also a sleeper sofa for any extra guests if needed.

The perfect setting to “a cabin in the mountain area”

This property did not disappoint Pictures represent the actual looks of the property & the atmosphere provides the rest! Outdoor furniture provided the perfect place to see the sun come up & watch the wildlife. The modern amenities such as satellite & Wi-Fi allowed us to keep up with the world while we were out of town. We stayed here while attending a bull sale nearby @ Chimney Rock Cattle Co & would do it again. The best part of the stay was being able to watch our LSU Tigers beat Alabama on Saturday night!!!!!

Cute cabin

Nice little cabin with plenty of privacy, the window views are great, overall pretty clean and my daughter loved the bed at the top. The only thing would be there was no cutting board available or at least I didn’t find one and one of the sinks was clogged and smelling pretty bad but other than that it was very homely. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable cottage

The Honeymooner is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay. It is a perfect lake getaway. We loved the black out shades!! We were able to sleep longer than usual as early risers.
