Fully furnished cottage! A great way to experience Tawas Bay right on the water with sailing, kite boarding, fishing and beautiful sunsets! There is Full service Marina right next door with Jet Ski, Pontoon, and Kayak rentals! All resort renters receive 10% off watercraft rentals at the Marina after booking! Also offered is a Kiteboarding shop also next door offering rentals and lessons!

- Please ensure that your vehicle(s) are parked at the cabin you are staying at, and be kind to not park in front of another cabin's view of the beach/water if possible.
- REMEMBER: Our Cabins are on the beach, and some areas of our lot are sandy and can sometimes make it difficult for small or lower cars to park in some locations. If you have any concerns or difficulty upon arrival, please contact us for assistance.

BOOKINGS - DAY AFTER LABOR DAY, UP TO AND INCLUDING FATHER'S DAY:

Refunds (less a $25 cancellation fee per cabin) are only able to be issued in the case that the cabin can be rebooked for the duration of your cancelled reservation.
You will be held financially responsible for 100% of your reservation if you cancel at any time.

Overall we were happy with the accommodations and our experience. What we didn't appreciate were the multiple text messages ordering us to clean the entire cabin. One such message was received after 10pm. If we are paying a service fee then we should not be asked or required to deep clean the unit. Matresses were surprisingly comfortable. Probably the most comfortable mattress in a rented cabin to date. Thank you.

East Tawas Stay

Nice. Perfect for a small family. Cabin did not have a ceiling. Coffee pot is a small one, which was a question I asked before I went. We had 4 adults staying, all heavy morning coffee drinkers. If I would had gotten the answer to my question we would have brought our pot.

The cabin was nice , we were given brand new sheets and towels which was a plus , fridge and stove were very clean , the only thing i would suggest that they would provide a regular size coffee maker instead of a small one , the beach was so ,so but i guess there is not much they can do about , but i have to say the beach at the state park close by is awesome, which we visited couple of times , even though we couldn’t swim because the water was cold, but thats Michigan , overal i love michigan and love the area

Better Than the Photos and Description

Excellent classic vacation cabin. Added a 4th nite plus we will book again this fall. Lovely sand beach all the way to the cabins. 1 1/2 mile hike out to the point in the State Park. Probably Birch or Aspen cottages have a better view of the lake, but you can see the sunsets and the glimmer off the water from Cedar.

We went on 4th of July weekend and they had a awesome fireworks show. We loved the private, not crowded beach access. Had a nice relaxing weekend, great atmosphere.

Perfect Location near Tawas Point

My family and I enjoyed our 5-day stay at this property. Pros: Fantastic location, wonderful little beach, quaint accommodations. Cons: Carpet in the bedroom was damp the entire stay, bedding could use updating, kitchen did not have a skillet, etc. Overall a great time and would stay again given that it was a value price for being right on a nice beach.

We tried to play in the water but didn’t realize the beach was right next to a marina. We found 10+ Rusty nails in the water on the beach. People kept cutting through walking right past us wearing no masks and not respecting personal space. Ultimately it would have been bearable but the floor carpet was soaked through the entire time to where we had to keep shoes on. They said it was cleaned but there was dirt and dust on the table. Said it was carpet cleaned right before we got there but we suspected the floor was wet from the 6+in of standing water on 3/4 sides of the cabin outside. This cabin was easily a foot lower than all others on the property. We will not go here again.
