About this property

Superb 107m² villa at La Cotinière. Direct on the beach and along a cycling path. With a fenced garden of around 750m². The house has 4 bedrooms, including a small suite, and the one for children is on a mezzanine. We will certainly appreciate the delicate sea shore deco which is so appropriate to the villa. There is also 1 bathroom, 1 separated toilet, dining/lounge room and a closed kitchen. A garage to secure bikes. To finish with, you will enjoy the terrasse that includes a plancha (electric) and furnitures. The particularity of the villa being that it is really on the beach (Matha side of La Cotinière). You just have to open the gate at the end of the garden to get to it, which is rare on the island.
Please pay attention to the fact that the mezzanine is accesible via a very steep stair that will not be suitable to people with problems to their legs or children under 5 years. On the other side, the mezzanine itself is well secured with a plexiglass along the fence and there is a security fence ath the top of the stair so children cannot fall. Nespresso and filter coffee machines available.

Cadre exceptionnel et surprises attentionnées des proprietaires

Maison très agréable et très bien équipée. Literie de qualité. Vue imprenable sur l océan . Ne manquait que le feu de cheminée (non utilisable) et cela aurait été parfait.

Beach Vibe

Lovely villa with direct access to the sand and sea and 5 minute walk along the top of the dunes to lovely sunbathing beaches. 5 minutes walk the other way along the pavement to the bustling little fishing village with restaurants, bars and shops. This is a working fishing port and we could see the fishery buildings in the distance from the garden, and a vast array of fruits of the sea can be purchased from several outlets around the quayside. Villa well equipped and owners had provided condiments etc and a gift of an authentic tea towel as a souvenir which was a nice touch. It had a great large walked garden apart from a stretch that had a modern wire gap fence so you could see the magnificent view. This was a bonus for us as we have a small dog and although he could fit through the fence he did not jump through as there was a slight drop on the other side. Outside shower was great as well as were the sheds to store beach equipment and a garage for secure of bikes. Island is great for exploring on bikes it has a laid back feel with beautiful beaches that are not overcrowded we visited in June.
