Great Flagstaff getaway

The unit was very nice - especially enjoyed the kitchen and availability of many utensils & cookware. My husband really loved the hot tub on the deck too! The only downside is the fact that the unit above us was rented out at the same time as our stay and the noise from above was disturbing, especially early in the mornings and late at night. You could hear conversations, television and it sounded like stomping above our bedroom. If you live in an apartment, this noise probably won’t bother you but we are homeowners and just not used to that.

This is the most expensive stay out of my entire trip to North AZ and Utah. I booked this trip to get away from crowd and noise. For the amount that I spent, I was expecting a quiet house in the forest all to myself and my family (4 of us). I specifically avoided hotels because I don’t want to hear doors slamming or people talking in the hallway. The house is nice and roomy with plenty of amenities but there are people living on the second floor of this house (right above the bedrooms). That was NOT mentioned in the rental description on Expedia.com at all! You do not get the entire house. You get the first floor only and there’s a curtain and sign on the steps of the indoor stairway that says “no access”. For up to about midnight, we could hear TV/music, voices, running water, doors opening/closing, knocking and footsteps at late night and early morning. The owner does provide sound machine and ear plugs but I’m not used to sleep with those. Also, I guess the entire house share the same water heater so there were times when shower is not hot enough so you would have to wait. As I’m writing this review, I hear water running upstairs and some stomping at 7 am. If I was staying at a YMCA or some cheap hostel, this would probably be tolerable, but not when I spent a couple hundred bucks a night to rent a house. Good thing I’m staying only one night and will be leaving in a few hours. Not a place for you if you want to experience quiet living in the woods.

Great getaway in the pines

Great location and amenities for relaxing getaway in the mountains. Lots of hikes close by to choose from and then relax in the hot tub at night. Spacious patio to enjoy the pine trees and fresh mountain air.

Perfect getaway

This property far exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, spacious, and a beautiful location. The pictures do not do it justice. This place has everything you need. The kitchen was completely stocked, comfortable beds and furniture, and very large deck with a hot tub. The property owners were easy to communicate with and we're quick to respond. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
