Summer hols in Pernes-les-Fontaines

A lovely and well equipped family size villa in Pernes-les-Fontaines, perfect for exploring the area around Avignon and beyond. It's only an hours drive from Marseille airport. Evelyne was a lovely and attentive host and cleaned the pool area twice during our stay. Lots to do and visit in this beautiful area - none better than Pont du Gard and the river Sorgue in our opinion!

Fantastique

We can highly recommend this villa; it is a lovely house located in a beautiful area, close to many lovely places to visit. Evelyne was always available, reacting quickly on apps and giving us a warm welcome on arrival. The house is beautiful, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely cooling pool in a garden with olive and fig trees- star gazing in the warm evenings- we had a great week and hope to return some time!

Outdoor space is beautiful, but overall experience was tainted by a few issues.

The check-in was stressful as the owner insisted on speaking French, expecting us to understand. Some written guidance would have been easier to follow and translate. During our 11-day stay, the owner visited five times to check on the pool, which felt excessive and intrusive. These visits disrupted our privacy, particularly when they happened in the afternoons, forcing the kids out of the pool. After some persistence, we rescheduled them to early mornings, but the lack of notice and the owner’s refusal to communicate in English made it uncomfortable. There were no basic provisions such as dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, soap, washing-up liquid, or bin liners. The fridge wasn’t cleaned properly, with food leftovers from previous guests still inside. We also discovered after booking that there were extra charges for sheets, towels, and cleaning. The £180 fee seemed steep, so we brought our own, which turned out to be a good decision. Only bed throws and one pillow per person were provided, and no duvets. On the positive side, the garden and pool area were lovely. The house had air conditioning in the living area and the corridor outside two bedrooms, but the third bedroom only had a fan. The Wi-Fi was spotty, only working on one side of the house. In summary, the property offers great outdoor space, but the owner's intrusive visits and lack of essential items were disappointing.

Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances dans cette maison. La maison était parfaitement propre et entièrement équipée de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour sans souci. La piscine était très agréable et offrait la fraîcheur idéale pendant les journées chaudes.L’emplacement est idéal : un environnement calme, un véritable havre de paix, et pourtant à distance de marche du village, où l’on peut facilement aller à la boulangerie et profiter des commerces.En résumé : une parfaite combinaison de confort, de tranquillité et de proximité du village. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison de vacances!

Havre de paix au coeur du Lubéron

Maison parfaite pour une famille au coeur de la jolie ville de Pernes. Idéalement située pour de nombreuses visites à 30 mns. Tout confort, calme, très propre. La propriétaire est très accueillante, à l'écoute et disponible pour toute question/conseil. Le chauffage de la piscine serait un atout supplémentaire. V, G et JF (Luxembourg)

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par notre hôte. La maison est très bien située, au calme avec un jardin suffisamment grand pour toujours trouver un petit coin d'ombre. La maison est très bien équipée et très bien entretenue. Le centre est accessible à pieds pour les achats de premières nécessités. On ne peut que se sentir bien dans cette maison.

3 semaines passées dans la maison d’Evelyne et que de souvenirs !!! Evelyne est une hôtesse extraordinaire, chaleureuse, accueillante, disponible et particulièrement humaine ! Merci beaucoup Evelyne, merci pour tout! La maison est douillette (d’une propreté irréprochable) nichée dans un écrin de verdure idyllique pour des vacances sous le soleil. Elle est parfaitement conforme à la description avec les cigales en bonus et un voisinage très chaleureux. Réservez les yeux fermés, vous serez séduits à coup sûr !
