LA DOLCE VITA - private home, quiet block, short walk to beach!

Discover what the hype is about! The OBX is an east coast gem, ideal vacation destination for families looking to make forever memories. The minute you cross over the bridge, you know you’ve been transported away from the daily grind. Kill Devil Hills is centrally located with easy access to southern points like Nags Head, Manteo and Ocracoke Island.

This private home features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, tastefully appointed, and located on a quiet dead-end street, just two blocks from beach access. Plenty of parking, close to many conveniences including supermarkets, restaurants, mini-golf, a movie theater and local attractions such as Avalon Pier and Jockey Ridge.

Ground level entrance has a laundry room, beverage refrigerator, utility sink, access to the garage, and access to the back door/yard. Hang up your stuff, kick off your shoes and head on up.

On the main level you’ll find a comfortable living room with 65” flat screen, access to the front porch with additional dining room space. Inside dining area comfortably seats 6 (4 additional folding chairs are stored in the closet). Two bedrooms include one queen bed and two full beds, and the main level full bath.

The second level has another queen bedroom and a large master with a king bed and a private loft area / reading nook via spiral staircase. This bedroom includes a balcony with seating as well as an en suite bath with a garden soaking tub and double sink vanity.

The kitchen is well-equipped with cookware, bakeware, utensils - everything you’ll need to whip up a delicious breakfast or family dinner. If you enjoy coffee, we’ve got a drip maker, a mini Keurig and a French press. We have both a gas grill and a park/charcoal grill.

Relax in our private fenced in backyard, lounging around the fire pit, enjoying the hot tub, or catching a little shade under the pergola. Play corn hole or take the beach cruisers for a ride around the neighborhood. In the garage you’ll find some beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach cart for your use.

All bedrooms feature flat screen TV's with Spectrum basic cable and Roku for you to access your Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu accounts. Wi-Fi access included. Family-friendly touches such as retractable baby gate on main floor, back door alarm, and a pack-n-play.

Fresh bed linens (fitted & flat sheet, pillowcases, cotton blanket and comforter), as well as bath linens (bath towel, hand towel and washcloth - 1 set per guest) will be provided.

Beautiful property, close to Beach and more

Our family of 5 had a great trip here. The house is clean, comfortable and really well located in the town. The beach is truly an easy walk and the wagon provided is a game changer. It was all exactly as described!

Perfect for families with small kids!

This was the perfect beach getaway for our extended family! Laila was a great host and the house was very kid friendly (especially the backyard). Close enough to the beach to go back and forth for nap time and plenty to do in the area if you need a beach break.

Great house with awesome location

The house was great! Awesome amenities. We rode the bikes around town, the hot tub was so nice, and the grill was a great option for eating in to save some money on food. Super close to the beach and chairs and umbrellas included made the beach days so much better.

Amazing vacation

We had an amazing time! The location was perfect for hanging at the beach and sightseeing all over the island. Home was lovely and comfortable for our family and the fire pit and hot tub were a great way to relax at the end of the night. We had an incredible time and made many memories!

Exactly what we were looking for!

The house was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed from beach gear to kitchen conveniences. Everything was extremely clean, beds were comfortable and the grounds were well maintained. Host communication was excellent, everything was well planned and executed flawlessly; easy check-in and check-out procedures. The proximity to the beach access was perfect for us - just a brief 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this property, we would definitely book again!!!

Absolutely Perfect vacation house

This is by far the cleanest, spacious, beautifully decorated vacation home we have stayed in. The owners have taken care of every little detail to make your stay comfortable and fun. Not sure how many of you care about the quality of sheets but I do. We loved that they have cotton/ linen fabric sheets/ duvet covers. The mattress quality is also great.

Wonderful place to stay!

Laila was such a great host and very responsive to any questions. She even provided some snacks and wine upon our arrival, which was such a sweet start to our vacation! The home was super clean and cozy. It was a short walk to the beach, even with 2 kiddos. There were lots of bikes, beach chairs, and other beach items for our use which was so helpful. Not only was it a great place to stay, but it was also close to so many restaurants, grocery stores, and ice cream shops! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and everything was in perfect order. The host even left snacks and a bottle of wine for our arrival. My granddaughters and I enjoyed the short 5 minute walk to the beach. A plus with the beach cart and chairs. Grocery store near by. We highly recommend LaDolceVita!

Great Family Vacation

This is was our 2nd stay at the property within 2 years. We enjoyed it the first time so much that decided to look no further and book it again. Comfortable home with enough space and all the necessities to enjoy vacation. Communication with the property owner was easy and she made sure we were comfortable. Great House with Great Amenities! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a total of 7 family members and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay. The house had lots of room and was super clean! Rooms were comfortable and spacious! We enjoyed numerous amenities to include the HotTub, picnic tables, and outside shower, It was great knowing we didn’t have to bring much on this trip as the house provided plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, and a beach wagon. The host was excellent and always communicated quickly! We felt very welcomed and would definitely stay here again in the future!! Highly recommend this property!

Great family house!

Our family had a memorable time at this beach house. The house is well decorated and feels very homey. Laila was such a pleasure to communicate with and responds very quick. The kitchen is well stocked and we love that the house came with beach wagons to carry chairs and umbrellas. The beach was only a short walk away and was not very crowded. The location is great because we had a Food Lion and a Duck Donuts across the highway and a Publix right down the road which made food runs very convenient. We made great memories here, thank you for hosting us!

The perfect getaway

This was the first time using VRBO and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house was absolutely beautiful, the decor was fabulous, the rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfy. The location was the best, 5 min walk to beach and close to shops and restaurants ( I could literally see Target from one of the windows). There were beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach wagons and coolers for you to use. There was a lovely note along with stuff to make s’mores, popcorn and wine for us. Communication with her was always a pleasure and she got back to me quickly. Our vacation was so great we didn’t want to leave. It was so perfect! Would definitely stay here again, it’s really a 5+ star rating.

Had an amazing week in OBX. This house has it all. The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The house had everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach. Umbrellas, chairs, and beach toys. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking any meals necessary. The back yard is a great place to relax. All the rooms have TVs but not really needed if your enjoying everything the house has to offer. We enjoyed playing games on the deck and playing cornhole outside. Also the he house is located great for easy trips to the store, restaurants, and mini golf. Overall it was a great trip and will definitely return to this location on my next OBX trip

Wonderful Family Vacation

Kill Devil Hills was a great property for a family vacation. We had 3 adults and 4 children. The property had enough bedrooms with comfortable beds and fresh linens. There were bath and hand towels in every room. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans, good set of knives, and dishes of various sizes to serve family dinners. The only suggestion we would have is to add an additional kitchen towel. Each floor had its own thermostat to control the temperature. A person came twice to check on the bath tub water quality in the backyard. The house was very clean and obviously recently renovated. The house is 5 mins to the beach, we were able to come and go as needed, to meet the sunrise and enjoy the sunset. Outside shower was great to get the sand off before going inside. There were beach buggies in the garage which was very convenient to carry our things back and forth. When everyone was tired and needed some lounging time, we enjoyed the family room with a large couch and watching some movies on the big screen TV (there was one in each room). It was a pleasure to meet with the owner of the property, Laila. She was welcoming and left us a kit to make smores at the backyard fire pit (a big hit with the kids) and a bottle of wine. She responded to the booking immediately and communicated before the stay to know what to expect and how to check in. We had a great time and would definitely love to stay at this property again in the future.

Wonderful house in a great location

We had a wonderful time staying in the Outer Banks and this house enhanced our trip! The proximity to the beach made it so easy to go to see the sunrise, take a walk, or set up for a day by the shore. The house was even better than the photos! The master bedroom was beautiful! As my 17 year old niece said, “The whole house is aesthetically pleasing.” Laila was a pleasure to rent from. She answered all of our questions and checked-in on us during our stay. We would definitely stay here again:

Felt like home!

Staying here was perfect for our two families with children. The house has plenty of space and accommodations to keep all of us occupied with the extra touches and short distances to everything - including being walking distance to the beach! Thank you Laila for sharing your beautiful home!

Perfect spot on OBX.

Updated property and furnishings had all the essentials and features you'd need...from great furnishings to a very well stocked kitchen to beach toys and bikes. It is in a more commercial area of OBX between the two main roads so there is some traffic noise, but very convenient to everything.
