Ghost Canyon Getaway Unit #3

Beautiful quiet getaway in the Black Hills, located only 10 minutes from Custer State Park, 25 minutes from Mt Rushmore, 35 minutes from Rapid City, SD. Lots of hiking, fishing, wild life and beautiful country. Guided horse back rides offered by J & F Tails and Trails next to the property.

We have two single units that are similar to hotel style rooms. Each unit has a queen bed, double sleeper sofa, and a private bath. The units have a 4.5 cubic fridge and freezer (big – mini fridge), a coffee pot, and a microwave. There are plenty of options for cooking with a private barbecue with a side burner outside, Blackstone griddle, and the fire-pit with a cooking grate. There is a kitchenette with a sink to wash dishes. The units are stocked with both disposable kitchen wares and non-disposable coffee cups and utensils for cooking if you wish to cook in instead of eating out.

The unit has heat and air conditioning, free internet, and satellite TV. We provide bed linens, towels, and kitchen utensils. The rooms are cleaned when you check out and a one-time cleaning fee is charged. If you need additional towels or bed linens during your stay, just let us know.

The property has a fire pit for all guests enjoyment and a basketball hoop for the kids to burn off their energy.

Absolutely liked everything about this place. The only downfall with our stay was the present of wasps. My husband looked and found a nest. I messaged the owner and they took care of removing the nest that same day. We highly recommend anyone to stay at this place. We stayed in unit 3 and I’m sure all the other units are just as great ..

Lovely stay in a country setting

If you enjoy looking at open skies, evening stars and pastoral views of horses this is the place for you. The photos and descriptions by the owners were spot on, pretty much what we expected.

Awesome location, first time in black hills. We came up from Nebraska. Definitely out in the country, but close enough to civilization that it's bearable if you're not used to that. Amazing views, nice community area with an electric fire pit, Blackstone griddle, and grill. Games and balls and stuff ready for use, Cornhole, bad Minton. Hosts were responsive and quick with any requests I had for more towels or for example the body wash soap dispenser wasn't working properly in the shower. The pricing was budget friendly and I feel I got what I paid for and then some. We had a family of four- adult and 3 kids in bunkhouse 3. A touch tight at times but we did 5 days here no problem. Rather close to Custer State Park. Highly recommend that place!!!. The location is phenomenal just because of that.

The property is located in the country with horses coming to the fence to greet you. The cabin is decorated very nicely and fits very well with the country location. Everything we needed was provided in regards to kitchen items,dishes,towels, shampoo, conditioner,body wash... The location was ideal for our trip to Custer State Park and Keystone area.Everything was exceptional.

Wonderful Place!

This was the most relaxing place! Clean and had everything we needed. Matt is a great host! We will definitely stay here again. The view is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing. If you’re looking for a place off the beaten path, but still close to the sites, this is your place. Highly recommend!

What a gorgeous setting off the beaten path! The cabin was perfect for our one-night stay on the way to the Fairburn agate beds. We loved the cleanliness, great directions, and the solitude in a place that felt sacred. Would definitely recommend.
