Near beach,lake,town!. This is a Studio/hotel-like room(no liv.rm area)everything in one room. Renovated bathroom and kitchen! Your outdoor space is limited to the open front porch for morning coffee or tea (no bbq or cooking on porch allowed due to fire hazard.) 1 blk to charming town with shopping, great restaurants and delis & salons, yoga & great shopping. 1 block to lake where you can enter with kayaks- kayak rental is in town. under 1 mile- short bike ride (or walk) to beach. 2 beach bikes (for rent $10) provided with baskets and combo lock for you to park at bike racks at beach or use bike path. No need for a car! Train is walking distance and stops at all shore points AND NYC. Plenty of free parking, A/C , skylight, beautifully charming 5 star hotel-like room with high quality bedding and towels. Fast Verizon wifi. Full kitchen and bath. NO SMOKING, no pets,no parties. 2 Beach badges included. Bikes have locks, Air pump and baskets.

A delightful cottage!

We had a lovely stay at Roberta's cottage while visiting with family nearby for the weekend. You can tell that the host not only cares about the property but the comfort of her guests as well. The cottage is spotless, well decorated, and in walkable distance to all the cute shops downtown. The neighborhood was quiet. I really appreciated how responsive and communicative the host was and she provided wonderful recommendations. I would highly recommend staying at Roberta's cottage!

Comfortable, clean and very quiet neighborhood. Parking was easy and walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Check in was very easy and everything we needed was there. Great place to relax !

This property is in a great location (esp. if you're over 25) it's a block from town, a block from the lake where you can enter with kayaks (kayak rental in town), a short bike ride (under 1 mile) to the beach or you can drive 5 minutes to beach and this year there is parking at beach available. There's also plenty of free parking on the cottage block. Bike path is nearby. It's in a great neighborhood! Near everything.

What makes this property unique

It's small enough where you don't have to share a big house with other people, so social distancing won't be a problem! This is the size of a small hotel room, but with a open front porch with wicker furniture, a kitchen, renovated bathroom and a skylight! It's 5 star hotel but with a location better than any nearby hotel. Wifi and cable tv and A/C included.
