About this property

Beach home in upscale, family friendly community.

We are confident that we have a perfect location for you to enjoy your So Cal holiday. We are a 10 minute walk to the beach, or 5 minutes if you borrow a bike. Our local supermarket is also a 10 minute walk, along with a few local shops & restaurants. Gated community with heated pool, hot tub, playground, basketball court & pickle ball. Legoland & Outlet Mall is a short 5 - 10 minute drive. Poinsettia train station is right behind us, about a 1 hour commute along the coast to downtown SD.

Originally from New Zealand I have been living in San Diego for the last 15 years, the last 4 years in Carlsbad. My husband is originally from the Mid West. We have two young children (8yr and 7yr). We both fell in love with San Diego and feel very lucky to live here. We love to travel though that has been put on hold a little since the arrival of our two children.

During your stay we will be out of town, we will have a lockbox with the house key for you.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is amazing for families. It is gated so fairly safe for your children to bike/skate/play in the street along with the many other children living here. You can walk or bike to the beach and supermarket. The whole family will love using the outdoor shower after a day spent at the beach.

What makes this property unique

The Carlsbad coast is gorgeous. Biking or walking the coast is beautiful. Leucadia and Encinitas to our South or the Village of Carlsbad to the North have many great dining and shopping options. Carlsbad and Vista to our East have many great craft breweries. Downtown San Diego is an hour on the train, or a 30 minute drive without traffic.
