About this property

A luxury Bozeman retreat that sleeps 8, a true recreational paradise

This beautiful four bedroom contemporary home sits on two private acres with pond, creek, fantastic yard, and borders open space with trails, less than 3 miles from downtown Bozeman. We price our large capacity house based on the number of people in your party so the cost is kept low for smaller groups. The rate calculator will automatically adjust the cost by $20/person per night if your group size is larger than the base occupancy rate. The base occupancy rate varies throughout the year from 5 to 8 people.

Luxury vacation home with two primary suites for people who like lots of space. There is a very helpful 3D self guided tour that can be found by searching for Sundance Secret Lair Bozeman 3D

Sundance Secret Lair is managed by Bozeman Cottage Vacation Rentals, a small homegrown Bozeman company with over 20 years of experience. For more reviews and information, including a self-guided 3D walkthrough, search the name of the house plus the words Bozeman Cottage.

Come stay in this beautiful four bedroom contemporary home located in Bozeman on 2 acres of land that is truly a recreational paradise. Located on a quiet dead end street, you will be able to enjoy peace and tranquility while only being a 5 minute drive from main street and one mile south of MSU. Recently remodeled with a modern flair and open floor plan the main level of the house has two open living rooms, TV, fireplace, full bathroom, two bedrooms, kitchen nook and a massive fully stocked modern kitchen and dining area with a six burner wolf range. This kitchen is a chef's paradise where you can cook while enjoying your friends and family as they sit at the kitchen bar. The upstairs primary bedroom has a queen bed, two walk-in closets, a massive bathroom with radiant floor heat, steam shower, Jacuzzi bathtub and opens to the backyard decks and private garden. Downstairs there are 2 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and another TV / game room living area. The downstairs primary has a queen size, full bathroom with steam shower, and opens to the gardens at ground level, a remote controlled gas fireplace, stunning bathroom and walk-in closet. The second downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and its own full bathroom.

Once outside you will be welcomed with extensive flower gardens and beautiful landscaping. We have collected and planted over a hundred different plants in our ornamental gardens and invite you to eat from the raspberry patch, feed the koi in our fountain, sit at the bench overlooking the pond and enjoy a relaxing stroll through our aspen forest and dip your toes in the creek as you sit on the bridge. Our paths wander through the property and at the end or our meadow connect to over 80 miles of trails via the Main Street to the Mountains system. These trails are used by commuters, runners, bikers, birdwatchers, and stargazers and help make the Gallatin Valley the best place to live under the Big Sky. Designed for ultimate recreation enjoy the in-ground trampoline, play a game of bocce on the 70' crushed granite course, or a game of croquet, ping pong, badminton or volleyball. Once the day is done is a perfect time to enjoy the outdoor shower and soak in the new six person hot tub.

If you are up for "glamping" then settle into the Japanese sleeping porch in the backyard, our take on a Japanese style tea house with a Montana flair with its red ski chair swing from Bridger Bowl Ski Area. Open up the massive front door and side door of the sleeping room to overlook the firepit, pond and aspens. Totally protected and safe, dry and cozy you can tuck up to four people in a queen size bed and a set of twin beds and listen to the creek and let the sounds of the wild lull you to sleep.

After 6 years of modernization this property is best described by the photos. It feels like it is much further than 2.7 miles from downtown due to the foliage and setting.

As with all Bozeman Cottage vacation rentals, the Sundance Secret Lair is fully equipped with a drip style coffee maker, coffee grinder, a starter pack of fresh, local coffee, linens, pots/pans, cooking utensils, spices, dry goods (flour, sugar, etc), EO brand non-toxic body products, and comes with organic coffee & grinder. We also provide extensive local info on everything from where to buy real Montana meat & locally grown vegetables to great hiking trails, rafting links to restaurant coupons. We believe in local economies and know the best places!

Summer Break
Toss house was amazing to get family from all over the country back together, with 3 generations able to share and enjoy all that Bozeman had to offer. This house helped us recharge and get a break from being out, with large kitchen and outdoor dining options for us all to laugh and catch up. Can't recommend staying here enough!

Amazing property!
I stayed here with 6 friends for a guys trip and this property could not have been a better spot for what we were looking for. The trip was a nice mix of hanging out at the house and cooking dinner as well as having close access to town to enjoy all the things Bozeman has to offer. I would definitely stay here again. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and the communication was great. I wish this was my house... it was awesome!
