About this property

Cool Waters is perfect for family holidays!

Omaha is holiday heaven, an hour’s drive from Central Auckland. This single-level 3-bedroom home sleeps 8 and is on a flat section in a quiet street.
Two families can stay comfortably, relaxing and enjoying all the amenities this home and the beach have to offer. The trip to the beach with children is a leisurely 5 minute stroll passing the Omaha Café & general store.
During the summer the beach is patrolled by the Surf Life Saving Club.

The open-plan kitchen and living area open wide onto a covered ground-level deck to enjoy outdoor dining and relaxation. An open gas fire in the lounge adds an extra bonus for the cooler months. A fully fenced yard gives space for children to run around in safety.

We offer 2 queen-size double rooms at opposite ends of the house, one with en-suite bathroom, and a great bunk room that sleeps 4. The main bathroom has a shower and a full-size bath, with a separate toilet, ideal for young families.

The famous Matakana Farmers Market and Tawharanui Regional Park are nearby places to explore. An 18-hole golf course, art galleries and movie cinema are all within a short drive. There are beautiful cafes, restaurants and vineyards scattered all around in stunning surroundings just waiting to be discovered.

Special conditions:
Minimum stay: 2 nights except Easter long weekend 4 nights; other long weekends 3 nights; high season 7 nights. Non-refundable deposit payable.

NOTE: Guests are to provide their own Linen, bathroom & beach towels.

We had such a great stay thankyou! Great location, very clean, modern, good layout. The only constructive feedback we would have is that a couple of outdoor lounge chairs/loungers would be great for relaxing outside, and the master bed was a bit hard, but everyone likes different firmness :). Nice modern property great for little kids, short walk to the beach, cafe and playground. Some things need upgrading, mattresses were a bit old and springy, bathroom needs a extractor fan, frying pans were very dirty and not very usable. Overall a great time and we would come again. Thanks!

Fantastic house to stay in for two families of four. Kids loved being in the same room with the bunk beds. House is modern, tidy and clean, and very comfortable. Instructions for check in and check out were very clear and access was easy. Great sized tv for the lounge too. Perfect location - few mins walk to local grocer, icecreams, cafe, playground and beach. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!!

Great location!

What a lovely spot, we really loved our week long stay here. Clean, quiet, well equipped and close to beach, playgrounds, cafe and shop. Fenced in property for the kids to run around in, and the outdoor shower was a hit after the beach! A great place to relax after a fun full day of adventuring.

Great Location & Wonderful Hosts

This was our second stay at Cool Waters. It’s the perfect location, close to the beach, shops, tennis courts, and playgrounds. Brilliant location and comfortable

Excellent, clean house and was just as described, we enjoyed our stay. Was perfect for our group who cooked most meals on the BBQ during our 3 night stay. Had everything needed for our 16mo (safe property in summer, used highchair and portacot, missing a mattress which were told about well in advance but had forgotten!). Easy walk to the beach, shop, and our toddler enjoyed the park. Thanks so much we would love to stay again if the opportunity arises!

Great place to relax while up for my sister's wedding

My sister had her wedding at Tawharanui so my wife and I decided to spend a long weekend at Omaha. Nice house, clean and great location. Close to beach and superette/cafe Only really one critique which was there was only one tea-towel so when we decided to cook a large meal and used a lot of dishes that could not go in to the dishwasher - it did not suffice but that was minor. Was a great weekend. Thanks :)

Lovely beach holiday

Perfect holiday home for our needs. Great bunk room for the kids and flat fully fences garden for them to play. Comfortable, cosy place with a good kitchen with everything we needed. Great location within walking distance of shop, cafe, playground and beach.
