About Angela and Jose
Our Dad's family has owned this place for many years, sharing it with family and others over the years. It was originally bought by my Grandma after her hubby nearly drowned at a surf beach across in Waihi. As long as we can remember we've visited the property, which used to have a grand pohutukawa tree on it, which was one of the two largest single-trunked ones of its kind in NZ. The older home used to be a dance hall and meeting place for business visitors at one stage. Once the tree crushed the old home and died with a fungal infection, the current home was built and completed around 1995. It has been in family hands since, first with the original family of seven siblings, and now the next generation down is continuing this wonderful legacy.
Angela and Jose purchased this House in 1950
Why Angela and Jose chose Coromandel Forest Park
It has all you need for a wonderful weekend or a retreat location for hobbies, business or fishing. Great for the family market too, with kayaks and walks on the beach beckoning. A local store is nearby in Kopu, local takeaways, and Thames is just a short drive away.
What makes this House unique
Fish off the beach, from the rocks or from a kayak
