Really enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Unfortunately the weather didn’t play its part but the bach had an extensive dvd selection, games and puzzles to keep us occupied. Great communication from the owners, fantastic location - close to beach and shopping.

Great old school Kiwi bach. Plenty of room for six adults and two kids. We particularly liked the location (just across the road from the beach), the large backyard, and the rumpus room downstairs.

Great location, across the street to beach access. Nice central location .

Nice tidy homely Bach stay. Suited our family group of surfers and fishers perfectly. Great off street parking easy turning at rear of the section and easy walking to central shopping and cross street to the beach.

Our 3rd time staying at this property, great location, fun property for the kids and a relaxed house to enjoy. Short walk to beach and shops. Easy communication with owner - highly recommend!

It’s our tenth year down at Waihi Beach but first time at the bach. Everything was perfect and the bach added to a great holiday enjoyed by our group. Great spot close to beach and the town centre. Huge backyard for games that we played volleyball, croquet, Finska & cricket. Great selection of dvds for the rain day. The owners were really nice and easy to deal with.

Great place with a real NZ bach feel, beautiful view of the sea. comfortable and clean with everything you need. Warm & sunny upstairs heaters provided for the cooler nights Appreciated being able to take the dog & accomodate our extended family of 8 including baby. Also really appreciated the early and late checkout offered on the long weekend. Location brilliant walk to the shops & beach within a few minutes. Loved the selection of dvd’s and no wifi. Thank you.

Awesome place in an amazing location at Waihī Beach

Our stay at Matt's bach was fantastic. The bach itself was exactly what we expected, and a fantastic space for a couple of families with young kids to stay. The location couldn't be better, just a block back from the beach and a short stroll into the village. Matt also really looked after us, giving us early check-in and a very late check-out at no extra cost. Can't rate the place highly enough, and are looking forward to staying again!

Was as listed. Nice and close to a reserve for the kids and a walk through it to get to the beach(100m walk from the property). Happily stay again.

Loved it

This bach is right up our alley, traditional and basic, but clean and swallowed us all up easily. Great to have a second TV/lounge for the kids. Lovely big section. Location can't be beaten, especially at this price.

The Bach is a good location. But we didn't find it very clean, and there was a musty smell in the house and cupboards where crockery was kept. Bathroom certainly needs an update. The inside of cooker had not been touched.

Long weekend stay

The communication with the Bach owner/manager was good and instructions clear. The Bach itself needs a good deep clean. The curtains, bedding, carpets, couch and rugs felt damp. We aired the place as much as we could, but the damp smell remained. Lots of games available and good space in the backyard. Across the road from the beach and close to shops, so a fun time overall.
