About this property

Stylish Contemporary Urban Retreat. 4 minute walk to the beach.

This house was built and designed by owner, who has taken exceptional care to locate the building for sun and aspect. Well in the view scape but out of the predominant winds.
A short 3 to 4 minute walk to the beach.
This home is compact but exceptional. High ceilings lined in moranti. Double glazed, green tinted glass make this house warm and inviting.
The two queen bedrooms both lead too small super functional bunk room, designed for children.
The tiled bathroom has been newly installed featuring large shower, vanity and toilet. There is a separate toilet off the laundry, not placing too much pressure on facilities. The outdoor shower is fantastic after a day on the beach to rinse the sand off.
The kitchen is well appointed with all modern features, including dishwasher and ice maker fridge freezer.
Outdoor furniture include table, umbrella, and seating 6. Extra seating at side of house, along with weber BBQ. 2 x Sun loungers also on deck.
The rear of the section houses a separate room with king bed, and fold out stretcher. An outdoor plug, and rear light making pitching a small tent on the lawn a possibility. A negotiated tarrif is avalable for extended maximum people if the tenting options is required for that extra family.
Wifi included. Off street parking.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected leave the house as you found it. ie clean any mess made, do dishes, vacume etc. please bring your own bed linen, towels, bath mats, tea towels etc. (duvet covers provided)

We stayed for eight nights and it still wasn't long enough. Such a beautiful spot, so well set up for a holiday, and the dog was allowed to come too! Hope to return.

Tata is a great location.

Tata is a great location. The house is well suited for a family and we enjoyed sitting on the paved deck soaking up the sun and enjoying views of the sea. Although it is not beach front it is only a short walk to the beautiful beach. Being allowed to take are dog was a real bonus and I would definately recommend this place to my friends.

Great new batch that exceeded our expectations. Only 2 of us but potential to sleep loads, we ended up having a quiet drink and playing some epic scrabble matches. Outdoor shower was nice after the beach.

Terrific Tata!!

Fabulous location, great amenities, short walk from the beach. The bach has a really easy flow which makes it home from home. The bedrooms are fun and playful in layout. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking utensil one could hope for and some! Really great communication from the host and dog friendly which was a big tick for us. Would highly recommend.

Our family (5 adults & a German Shepherd) stayed here for 8 days in January 2024 and highly recommend it. Very clean property, well stocked kitchen, heaps of condiments etc to use. Easy, quick communication with the owners which continued through our stay. Was so grateful we were allowed to take our dog. He was allowed inside, just not in the bedrooms where there is carpet. There's a roughly 4 metre part of the fence that doesn't have hedging that I was concerned he would see as an escape path (about 1m high, just in case you have an escaper) but he liked the property so much he stayed😀 Thanks so much for a great holiday, we will be back.

Family 60th get together.

Enjoyable stay with family and our dog. Just unlucky it was the weekend of the big storm in the top of the south, causing power cuts on the Saturday. The house though overall was ok for us, just a couple of things like a few ceiling light bulbs, bedside light plus the bathroom mirror light blown and the kitchen bin was broken. My only other comment was when we arrived in the dark the previous people had shut the gate when the instructions by Steve asked for it to be left open. In the storm this was frustrating. Parking could be better as our two utes could not fit as there is a tractor on the driveway and access is over a kerb rather than the lowered kerb which was locked off.
