Very comfortable and clean cottage ideally located in the Republic of Whangamomona, which is an excellent place to explore the Forgotten World highway and the surrounding area
Great stay, great location - best place in Whangamomona
The cottage is just as described and is simply a cool place to hang one’s hat for a stay in Whangamomona. It is a 45 second walk to the Hotel (dinner) and is well furnished and set up. We will do our best to stay there again.
If you're visiting Whangamomona or travelling through the Forgotten World Highway and need some space - this is hard/impossible to beat! Old railway house that has been modernised and nicely decorated - we enjoyed our stay and will almost certainly stay here again! TV, Wi-Fi, breakfast essentials provided - plus some great reading on the history of the area.

Stylish comfort in a hidden gem of a town
A spacious comfortable oasis amongst beautifully untouched countryside. We were glad of the electric blankets on an unexpectedly cold night. Lovely setting. Wish we had more time to explore the town and enjoy the covered deck.
We had a fabulous time staying at Whanga bridge house. It had everything we could possibly have wanted. Great kitchen setup, plenty of towels, and delicious breakfast. Especially loved the friendly sheep out the front door. Definitely love to return again.
A great wee village. Great pub. Friendly staff. Friendly townsfolk. Our hosts provided good digs at a fair price. This 'lost' valley is a great place to star gaze from on a clear night. Sooo peaceful!
Loved it. Thank you.
