Very relaxing thank you. Accommodation was top notch in a lovely natural setting - I haven't heard frogs croaking for a long time!Plenty of information about attractions in the area. Hamilton Gardens A1. Enjoyed brunch and a stroll in Cambridge and it was worth the distance in stunning counrtyside to Sanctuary mountain.

Ōhaupō Labour Weekend getaway
Beautiful grounds, especially delightful in spring with the clearest nighttime skies, complete with a fire pit (perfect for making s’mores and safely enjoying the primal parts of life) and outdoor hot tub (wonderful under the night sky). Practically, for more than a few nights stay and with many children, you need to be aware that there isn’t a laundry in the apartment (so be sure to pack enough clothes, or, be prepared to take a drive to Leamington to launder your clothes). I also wasn’t explicitly aware that the house was shared with the property owners (I possibly mis-read this on the listing), but Colleen and Bruce were very accommodating, understanding of little ones, and didn’t make us feel like we were in any way a nuisance. You’ll enjoy your stay here, without a doubt.

Lovely cottage and location
Super clean, comfortable and amazing location for a short break. Good facilities including pod coffee machine! Our only issue is that we thought we had booked a place sleeping 8; this was not the case as the owners now live in the adjacent cottage, but they could not have been more helpful with the provision of a sofa-bed (with memory foam mattress) for the lounge to allow our 5th person to stay.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I have owned lived on this property since the second year of our marriage when we started to milk cows for my parents. We had a little baby girl and this was where we grew our family into two children, a couple of dogs, and 150 cows and calves. Since then many things have changed but the beauty of this land has not. The trees that surround and are planted on the property move gently around us sounding often like the ocean.

What makes this property unique

Reliable WiFi • Excellent for groups and families • Professional host • Grazing farm animals close by including a herd of Ayrshire milking cattle a breed of dairy cattle originating from Ayrshire in southwest Scotland. Beef cows and calves together with lots of horses surround the property.
