Modern Affordable Family house - Walk to Town/Transport & much closer than most

This modern architecturally designed 3 bedroom home couldn't be better situated, an easy 5 -10 minutes stroll into town and only 70m to public transport (bus on Frankton Road outside Holiday Inn).

Stylish and contemporary, it is an ideal base for family holidays or a romantic getaway for two.

Free wifi is included

The house is in a sunny location and boasts spacious outdoor areas including a deck, a paved area and a large lawn, ideal for children.
- However please note that the driveway does NOT have a gate

The house is on one level with plenty of off street parking and a carport.

The bedrooms and living area have wall heaters and there is wonderful wood burner in the living room to ensure the winter evenings are really cosy. All beds have electric blankets.

The bathroom has under floor heating, and electric towel rail.
The house is fully equipped with washing machine and dryer, drying rack, iron, pedestal fans, portable cot & portable highchair

A fully equipped kitchen and BBQ allow you the freedom to either eat in or simply wander down town to the many amazing restaurants, cafes and bars.

Winter - enjoy superb skiing, stunning scenery, great food and atmosphere in town.
Summer - conquer breathtaking world famous hikes, walks and bike trails.

All Year round - experience the many "Extreme Sport" activities; Golf; Wineries; Restaurants; Surrounding historic towns; Shopping and Tours
Special conditions:
- Smoking allowed outside only, please dispose of butts respectfully in container provided
- Couples and Families preferred.
Special Rules for Young travellers all year:
- ALL guests in a group must be over 18yr for insurance purposes and subject to owner approval, enquiries welcome. A bond may be required.
- However Schoolie/Graduation groups WILL NOT be accepted. Please do not enquire.

Lovely house close to town

Lovely warm house within two blocks of town. Great space heaters and fireplace kept the place toasty warm all week. Very close to town.

Cosy home in Queenstown, 10year Anniversary Getaway!

Cosy place to stay in the heart of Queenstown. Good size 3 bedroom home. Nice open floor kitchen and lounge room. Very small bathroom and shower but loved the heated floors. Separate toilet and sink. Comfy beds and good pillows. Nice view of the mountains from the front porch/yard and side patio/outdoor setting. Great location!! 5 mins drive to wharf and lakeside bars and food, including world famous Fergburger/Mrs Ferg Gelateria and Fergbaker (a must despite the lines). Had a awesome stay for our 10 year annivesary. Highly recommend for couples or small families.

Fine house and location, but a few caveats

This is a very nicely furnished and appointed 3 BR house, 10-15 minutes walk from central Queenstown, and close to bus service. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well furnished, including many condiments and staples. Two complimentary bottles of wine, cheese and grapes were provided. Maintenance of the house is a little erratic. There were cobwebs on some of the windows, the shrubs are in need of trimming, the handle on the clothes dryer was broken, the top rack of the dishwasher tended to come loose, and there were no coffee pods for the brewer at the beginning of our 10 day stay. We also had a mouse in the kitchen. To her credit, the owner was responsive, her local agent came promptly and dealt with these issues as best she could, and we were given a credit for the inconvenience. There is significant road construction on the street that continues 24/7, so expect noise at night; the workers were considerate when we needed to come and go, but we did have some sleepless nights. We were only warned about this a week in advance although the construction has been going on for more than a year. Also be aware that it is a fairly steep climb from central Queenstown; not a problem for us but might be for individuals with mobility issues or cardiovascular concerns. The property is the last house on a street that has been taken over by hotels. The house was ideal for our needs and we would stay again, but more attention to upkeep is needed, and be aware of the nighttime noise.

Great Family Spot

Great location. We were able to walk into town for dinner with our kids (8, 9 and 11) for dinner without complaints. All the necessary equipment for a family stay and handy to access the ski fields. We were there during July school holidays and while it was freezing cold outside, the house heats up quickly with the fireplace and there are plenty of wall heaters required. Host was friendly and left clear instructions with an onsite help which we didn't need. Definitely recommend to any family looking for a trip away to Queenstown.

It is our favourite place to visit when we are back in NZ.

Due to COVID uncrtainty, we will consider all refunds individually and fairly.
If Govt rules, flights, travel restrictions, or cancellation of an organised event result in you no longer being able to have your holiday at our house we will do everything we can to ensure a full refund is processed. However we do not refund for "change of mind" unless covered by a Homeaway policy during this time.
If VRBO/Stayz pass on a fee to us that we are unable to get refunded, this portion will not be refunded, Cleaning fee will be refunded.
