The present residence is on the site of the former Motuotaraia Homestead. It is surrounded by the greenery of rural life, from the old station buildings to the sheep, cattle and deer grazing in the paddocks. This accomodation is located 20 minutes from the Waipukurau township, nearby the quaint Wanstead Church. There are many activities in the surrounding area including beaches, heated swimming pool, tramping, polo, golf, walking/biking tracks,.fishing and hunting..

Great place to stay

Had a great two nights here lovely spot and great rooms quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast treats for the four of us Only down side was no real cooking / Kitchen facilities but all good and maybe some comfy seating would be good

Please note there is no kitchen to wash any plates and cutlery, floor is very cold.

I would suggest if you are looking at staying in this quiet and peaceful property that you take your own seat if possible as the ones on site are very uncomfortable. I would also suggest you take some jandles or slippers as the tiled floor is very cold!! There is no wifi or phone service, so not ideal if you need to do emails at the end of the day.
