'Beach break' Ahipara beachfront house

This beach retreat sits opposite one of New Zealand's finest beaches and surfing spots. A unique designed beach house, Beach Break has something for everyone from surfer or fisherman to adventurous families that want to enjoy the surrounding attractions to couples that just want to relax and unwind. A warm, inviting space to escape, set yourself free, find yourself all over again and be rocked to sleep by the soothing sound of the waves crashing at your doorstep.

One the worlds best kept secrets, Ahipara features some of the best surfing breaks and fishing in NZ. The water and rockpools are at your doorstep. The main shops are a few minutes or 15 minute walk but for more serious supplies you will need to go to Kaitaia which is a 12-15 minute drive away.

There is a cafe, that serves quality breakfast or lunch and there is a small supermarket, fish and chip shop nearby. A small community feel without the touristy mayhem, the neighbourhood has a relaxed appeal and the locals are very friendly.

This property is newly renovated and everything is brand new. Quality furnishings and fittings. Fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons.

Outstanding location - walk across the front yard, over the road, and sit at the picnic table with your morning coffee watching the gannets fishing off the beach, or the fisherman walking along swinging his hammerhead shark (really). Really nice modern bach, the extra sleepout was a big hit with the teenager, well equiped kitchen, comfortable open plan living, plus Netflix on the TV. The lifeguards and vehicle access to the beach are 50 yds away, great beach for a swim/surf. Thanks so much!

We love staying at Beachbreak Ahipara. We always have a fabulous time. It is a fantastic holiday home. Amazing location and works really well for our two families. Awesome weekend and Robyn is fabulous to deal with.

Property location is perfect.

Property location is perfect...across the road from very nice beach. Neighbor was a bit loud with his ageing 70's rock, but tolerable. Cannot open front slider door all the way (note on door)....BIG negative since that is part of the allure of the place from the photos. A perfect place for multiple families or one with a lot of kids. What can I say though, Shippies is my absolute favorite break in all of NZ!!!
