What a fab, well thought out house! Was a very enjoyable stay for our family of 5 and would be ideal to add friends in too. Very spacious and everything you’d need. Thanks!!
We just love this property; it ticks all of the boxes, and the view is absolutely stunning. Great location, everything you need. Highly recommend staying here :)
A short stay to catch-up with friends and have a walk, house was a great home base, had great views that all enjoyed.
Only problem we had was the very uncomfortable couches, and dining room chairs.
We loved the location and view from the house. The mountain view from the massive lounge window was spectacular! Lovely warm and comfortable house to stay in. Thanks!
The Perfect Place for an Extended Family Gathering.
Kea Castle certainly was the perfect choice for our family celebration. There was plenty of space to cater for all of us with the lovely big lounge area, huge kitchen and amazing dining table. The different bedrooms worked really well. We loved the fabulous views, cosy fire and the wonderful variety of toys, games, puzzles and books. The laminated instructions were easy to follow. Thank you for sharing this amazing bach with us.
Was great to stay, perfect no wifi, but luckily downloaded a couple kids shows to keep occupied for hour two. Great dinner at lodge and great walks accessible from house. Really warm last day didn’t Enron need to start fire, although I wanted to( don’t have open fire at home so just chopped lots kindling)
Absolutely fabulous. Perfect for our stay. BUT
Why did you need to take 40% down payment SIX months out and then 100% THREE months out when you have absolutely no costs associated with having us stay?
Yet you took our money SO FAR ahead of the booking date. Because you could?? In these tough times when everyone is finding life tough, this looks pretty greedy really!

family weekend, multiple celebrations
This was the perfect home for us to celebrate 2 birthdays, a wedding anniversary and to remember it was almost 40 years since we moved from Auckland to St Arnaud to take over the Lake Rotoiti Service Centre. Adults and grandchildren alike relaxed and had space to have family fun and yet not get under each others feet. Perfect for us all. Kitchen was exactly what we needed, lounge and dining area spacious, all in all, just great.
the house was flasher than we thought it was going to be! amazing views, good clear instructions and communication. Nice to have natural ecostore cleaners, and extra food in cupboard to use and replace was handy. Plenty of kids toys and books too. really enjoyed our stay thank you!
The views are fabulous, and there's plenty of space for everyone to relax. The home is well equipped, and it's nice and handy to the lake. I highly recommend a stay here!
We were so impressed with the size and cleanliness of the house not to mention the most stunning of views.
The kitchen was well equipped along with a large dining table and plenty of seating options for 10 or more people. The beds were also very comfy.
