A comfortable house with wooden floors and ceilings, open plan onto large covered deck. North-West facing views to the sea and Karikari Peninsula. Trees, birdsong and natural setting with boat parking and room for vehicles. Downstairs rumpus room. Fireplace.
Numerous beaches within 10 minutes drive, golf course, fishing, river access, water sports, historical Mangonui township and the famous Fish n' Chip shop.

Peaceful with excellent views

We had a great Easter weekend surfing around the far north and really enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing with beautiful views!

Peaceful retreat

Family holiday: Great views off the grid

We had a lovely stay at Rae’s place - we traveled as a family with 3 kids under 8. Rae had made up an extra mattress for us when we arrived to cater for the kids. Amazing bush feel and the views were stunning.

A lovely out look and peaceful environment, you are away from neighbours and in a private section surrounded in native bush. We have enjoyed our time here as the beaches are amazing up this way and a lot to explore on this side of the north land. Would come again.

Great Location to access the fantastic beaches around the Karikari peninsula and other areas.

This Bach is in a great quiet location. Plenty of space. No BBQ or internet. Short drive to the beaches and fishing spots around the Karikari peninsula. Fantastic beaches there. The owner Rae has great knowledge of the area. We really enjoyed our time at Rae’s place. Great view from the deck overlooking the bay.

Peace, quiet and solitude in the hills

We absolutely loved our stay at Rae's fantastically situated home. High up in the hills overlooking Karikari Peninsula and Doubtless Bay, surrounded in native bush, we loved hearing only the cicadas singing in the day and the crickets chirping at night. A quick 2 minute drive down to Taipa Bay for a swim and really easy access to Maungonui, Coopers Beach, Matai Bay. We'll be back!

Recharge and unwind

Rae’s place is in a quiet neighbourhood on the hills, surrounded by nature, and with a view on the ocean. This is the perfect place to recharge and disconnect. We spent a week here with our little 2 year old and enjoyed breakfast and dinners on the deck; the huge garden; and the bath with a view on the bush. Kitchen is well equiped, and the house was clean. There are several nice beaches close to the batch and lots of outdoor activities and places to visit. Recommended!
