Colac Bay is a great weekend/holiday getaway, it is one of Southlands most consistant surf breaks, catering to all abilities. Colac Bay is a short drive from Riverton and on the coastal highway. Great fishing and diving and lovely beaches to explore. Colac bay has a local Restaurant /Pub, an easy stroll from this Bach. Being so far south, this coastal town has the longest sun hours in the country
Special conditions:
Pets allowed, although property is not fully fenced, we would prefer pets to be kept outside.
It is expected that the bach will be left clean and in the state that it is found.

PLEASE NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.

NOTE: PLEASE BRING OWN LINEN (towels/sheets only) If this is a problem please contact the owner.

Reconnecting with our whakapapa

Beautiful stay, had a nice kaupapa on at the Marae, this is the birthplace of my Nanny, so nice to be here xx lovely home, suited us perfectly. Good comms to owners, perfect weather, loved the beach, no TV for 5 days, perfect! I told Dad it didn't work lol! Not providing sheets and towels was a little hoha because we came from North Island... so something to consider without a fee... But thank you, we will be back one day, when xxx Murihiku mauri ora!!

A special place to call home for the weekend

Absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous bach in Colac Bay! Super clean, well appointed, had everything we needed, and in such a special spot right on the beach. We all ennoyed our stay, and comms with the owner were fantastic! We will definately be back another time! THANKYOU!

Restful, comfortable, wonderful views.

The house was warm and very comfortable with decks providing outdoor seating and was across the road from the beach perfect for walking and swimming. We loved the views from the house and the quiet restfulness of the area.

Great beachfront location

Wasn’t the best weather, but still had a good time. Beachfront location. Probably needs more in between cleans when you have to clean yourself. Would be nice to have some throw away gloves with cleaning gear, as we got a dirty toilet. Listing didn’t have lockbox code on check in, but I think that is a fault with bookabach not the owners. Had to contact owner for code and they were very helpful. Overall a great spot.
