Tokomaru Bay is a small, friendly community situated on the East Coast 100km from Gisborne. It's special because it remains untouched. Stranded in Paradise Ecolodge is situated in the middle of the bay on an elevated private site. Stunning sea views can be seen all over the site from the main lodge, cabins and tent sites. Rated by Lonely Planet as one of three top picks in Gisborne Napier region. Come and enjoy a relaxed holiday with a group of friends or family. Cook together on the BBQ or visit our cafe or the famous Te Puka Tavern. Horse treks and hiking in neighboring bays and ranges are recommended .
Special conditions:
Please note that the Lodge is designed to maximise views and so cabins are a short walk to facilities. The lofts in the main house are accessed via steep stairs and beds are on mezzanines. You need to be reasonably active to use these for sleeping. There are no ensuites and have composting toilets.

Stay in paradise

We loved our stay at the beautiful eco lodge!! The place was cozy and homely, with plenty of space for our whānau to spend time together!! The cabins were perfect to get a bit of down time with stunning views to match. We definitely plan on coming back! Thank you

Our whanau had a great nights stay on our way from Auckland - Gisbourne - to Ruatoria to our home Marae, Tinatoka. The venue was just right, very welcoming hosts, and our two little dogs were also catered for. We hired the whole place and stayed up till the wee hours of the morning playing monopoly, highly recommended
