We had a wonderful time just relaxing. It was nice to getaway from the pressures of life and relax.Everything was nice and inviting. I love the decor! We had a wonderful time!
Nice property. View of the lake wasn’t good due to the trees..maybe they could be trimmed back?Light switches in the house were confusing and not being able to flush toilet paper wasn’t convenient either..but otherwise nice stay.
We had an amazing time during our stay. The house was the perfect size for our needs. Loved the open concept of the kitchen and living room. The flow was exceptional. The sitting room and extra bathroom were great! The back porch was where we spent a majority of our time. So relaxing!
Had a wonderful time at this property. Host communication was top notch. Text messages before we traveled, a welcome text an hour away and a departure text the nuight before. Check in was a breeze. Cozy and clean accomodations. No real issues on my end, but want to add a few things for people interested. Pet friendly, but no fenced yard. Have to have pets on leash when outside, house is very close to road and no back yard due to backs to Army Corp property. There is no dining area inside ither than 3 stools at the end of the kitchen counter. There is outdoor seating, but no lights for after dark dining. Host requests nothing other than "your business" be flushed down toilet. Common thing for houses in the area due to being on septic. Beds were comfortable. Space was great for 4 adults. Easy to enter and get around with 2 handicapped adults. Great location. Will definitely be booking again if available.
Although the home was small in square footage, it had six Glade plug-ins that were sent. It was so overwhelming that it gave me a migraine. I started vomiting. We didn’t realize until we got there. There was a note by the toilet that said please do not flush, toilet paper, sanitary, napkins. This was totally unsanitary, the expectation to put toilet paper in a trashcan with a lid that you had to stick your hand in, and I developed diarrhea, and it made me wonder how many other people stuck their hands in the trashcan.. if you’re not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet really that really should be something they let you know before you rent the place.I spoke with the owner to let her know the scent had made me sick and we had open doors and windows which didn’t help and the fact that I was running to the bathroom and couldn’t flush toilet paper. She gave me permission to flush toilet paper but we still ended up leaving the property early Because I continue to be sick from the scent. I had told her I would leave it to her as far as refunding any of our money and she said she would send in something to the evolve team opening a case I have yet to hear anything back I would not recommend this property. It also says it’s a quiet place but you’re right on a highway or traffic is going all through the night it was definitely not like I expected from the way it was advertised

Thanks for sharing your feedback—we’re glad to hear that you found the home to be cozy and welcoming. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We work diligently to ensure every guest enjoys a clean, sanitized, and comfortable space. While air fresheners were intended to create a fresh atmosphere, we understand that fragrance can affect guests differently.- Our guest support team is available 24/7, and we wish we’d had the chance to address your concerns right away during your stay.- Regarding the cabin size and road traffic, the home is typical for the area and situated near marinas and boat docks—a location many guests enjoy for its convenience, though it can mean more activity at certain times. We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and ensure future guests enjoy a smooth and comfortable stay.
