We love the location of this house. Its a beautiful home with lots of space. They had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay! Looking forward to staying again.
This house was very accurate from description. Very lovely home and so cozy. We were down for college visit for our daughter and loved the beds, couches, and dining table. Kitchen had everything but coffee (but we had already brought some). Grocery was near by and we cooked breakfast. Great restaurants near by. Love the little downtown area of Independence which was maybe 3min walk. Easy to check in and check out. bathrooms were clean too and good towels.
This home was perfect for our week stay in Independence OR inclusive of our wedding reception for friends and family. We have various friends from all over the west coast join us at the house. We used all 10 bed spaces one night and were still comfortable and able to socialize. Nice to be within walking distance and have use of the local free trolley. We’ll definitely use the property again.

From the owner: "Thank you so much for the lovely comments! We are happy the house was more than accommodating! Thanks again!"
The house inside was as advertised. Beds were good, showers were good, plenty of linens and nice appliances. We had a big group so the number of glasses and bowls available was not really enough without washing dishes each day. Also, not really the fault of the owners at all, but there is a train track right next to the property and a train went by, blaring its horn through the intersection at 3:30am both nights we were there which woke everyone up so if you stay there, be aware that may happen. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Nice inside.
Overall the house was cleaned nice. The yard was not fully fenced and there is a shed that looks like it's going to fall over at anytime in the back. Next to the house is an abondoned building that people were climbing in and out of the fence of that property all night and were making noise. We picked up a bunch of nails, screws, and glass from the yard and the parking area. Kind of unfortunate that I couldnt let my children play outside. In the upstairs room that has the futon in it we found a prescription pill on the floor next to my toddler, that didn't belong to anyone in the house.
Beautiful interiors, great layout and clean. They had plenty of supplies such as towels, extra bedding, etc. Just a couple of down side. 1. The house number was hard to see as it was dark and raining 2. Not enough toilet paper and paper towels. We had to buy more. 3. Could use another bathroom even if just half bath. 4. It was dark and raging and the back entry way was flooded. By morning it was impossible to get out through the door. Maybe a front door keypad would be helpful. Otherwise great house! My family was comfortable in it.
