The perfect place to relax

The property is beautifully designed; you can really tell the attention to detail. The pool is perfectly positioned so that it’s mostly in the shade, ensuring a perfect way to cool off. It’s in a completely quiet location, yet just a 10-minute walk from the center.

Pierre & Colors is a beautiful, funky property owned by artists. All the furniture and accents are handmade. The paintings that adorn the walls are also created by the proprietors. It is a colorful, yet topically peaceful lodging. I stayed here the day before starting a 10-day yoga retreat and it was a perfect launching pad for this experience. Marie- Noelle is the perfect host. She was very accommodating to my early arrival and later departure for the retreat. She offers wonderful suggestions for meals and gave me tips for my first stay in Costa Rica. The only slightly challenging experience was the garden style bathroom which was very warm closed off from the room, but definitely prepared me for my bungalow stay at the yoga ashram that had a similar set-up.
