The days we stayed were frozen, but the owners did everything to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. They had plenty of heat for the cabin and it was really warm and cozy for my fiance and I. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy getaway, this is a great option!

Absolutely adorable cabin with huge yard. Great play structure for kids. Conveniently located only a few minutes off the highway, hidden in the country yet minutes from everything you may need. Friendly owners who value your privacy. Will definitely consider again should we attend another faire or event in Thorndale!

Weekend retreat

Quaint, simple, bunkhouse was perfect for a night away from the city. The spacious yard, firepit were perfect for hours of fun for kids and an energetic dog. The loft great for tired kids overlooking the sky.Close to the city, but quiet property. Finally, the owner was fantastic! A camp day away that was perfect for us!

It probably shouldn't be rented out past Oct as it has no insulation. Space heater was nice but couldn't get it very warm. Never reached more than 10degrees inside so a bit too chilly! Didn't expect it to be in a suburban neighbourhood but it is tucked nicely back in the trees. Very cute cabin- my husband is a timber framer so we appreciated the workmanship.

Thank you very much. There is a supplied propane heater in there also for when the space heater won’t quite cut the cold. We will look into other safe options to keep the cabin cozy in the up coming cold months.
