The house was just minutes' walk from the bayfront, with a sandy beach, great for walking dogs and playing in the sand. Love the two masters on the top level and the garage with the game room and tv were fun. We did not enjoy the outdoor hot tub and fire place, just ran out of time, but looked nice. The neighborhood is quiet and only two blocks from another home rented by family members, so easy to get back and forth to each other. You can walk to the marina and grocery store, very convenient. We had a blast.

The house was great. Unfortunately due to the awful stench of something dead in the garage we couldn’t use the game room. And the only way to take the dogs outside to the dog run was through the garage with the stench of decay in there. Fortunately the stench stayed in the garage when we shut the door. It smelled of urine when we arrived but the obvious smell of a dead critter of some sort became apparent by the end of the first day. They were going to send someone out to deal with it, but then later said that there wasn’t anything they could do about it even though no one ever came to the house. They were confused by me also letting them know about the carpet stains but I told them they didn’t need to clean the carpet inside but please come deal with the garage. I’m not sure the property management company took me seriously when I said it smelled like something was dead in there. It would have been nice for them to send someone out to unlock the areas that are locked in the garage to find out if the dead something was in there. Otherwise we had a great stay and the house is in great condition. It could use a bigger cutting board and probably a few more dishwasher pods but we also cooked most meals. Not everyone does that.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry about the strong odor in the garage and that it limited use of the game room and made taking your dog out more difficult. Our communication should have been clearer and you deserved a prompt on-site response. We take reports like this seriously and will have maintenance inspect the garage to locate and remove any source of the smell. Our housekeeping team will also address carpet concerns and restock the dishwasher pods. I appreciate the suggestion about a larger cutting board and will pass it along to the homeowner as well. Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us.

Very nice house. Only complaints were the carpet stains and the need for a handrail on the stairs at the entrance to the house. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

This house was great for three generations of family! There was room to spread out and room to be together. Unfortunately during our stay the oven was broken so we didn’t get to cook together as much we usually do.
